First and foremost, I am moved by the energy and emotions of your wedding day. Some folks call these kinds of photos “candids”. But I think they are more than that. These types of photos hold you, you loose yourself in them, you feel the moment, and if I do a really, really good job of getting to the essence of the moment, you might even taste and smell that snapshot in time. That’s at least what I’m going for and the types of photos I love the most.

I am a creative. I don't use that title to set me apart or make me sound special. It's actually a statement I believe we all should use. In us all is creativity, even those who say they don't have a creative bone in their body. What set's me apart in my creativity is that I feel most like myself when I'm in the creative process. Weddings are the most dynamic, exciting, emotional, anticipated, and even unpredictable events. It's in this space that this creative soul gets to work making magic happen!

Last but not least, I’m into the details. The details of your story, of your day, your vibe, and your look. Details can mean a few things when talking about weddings. It can mean all of the beautiful personal items, florals, stationary, and other elements that make up the overall designed vibe of your day. I’m here for it! I love a thoughtfully designed wedding. That doesn’t mean it has to be over the top, just that your vibe can be felt in these details of your day and they support that awesome love story you share. "Details" also applies to they way I shoot. When I set up portraits, I look for things that are out if place like boutonnières that have gone sideways or hair that needs fixing. I want to make sure you are looking your best for your portraits and often the difference is in the little details.
