Describe your DJ style:
The event is about my client, not about me. I love people to have a good time. I like being prepared and being professional. I don't charge an arm and a leg for my services.
What is your usual attire?
White Neru Shirt with gold buttons or white shirt and tie. Black dress slacks and black leather shoes and black socks.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No. Some times some songs are difficult to get. If the bride and groom already have it and I don't, why shouldn't I use the song at their event.
How many other DJs do you work with?
None. When you book Dj-Roo you get Dj-Roo. That is the only way that I can provide the very best service.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
3 hours.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Absolutely in fact I prefer it.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
That depends on the type event.
Do you bring your own equipment?
I bring (3) complete sets of dj equipment.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
I can provide general dj lighting upon request.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
45 Min to 1 Hour.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
I only requite a 5 foot wide by 6 foot deep area as I provide my own table and professional dj facade.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
I MC and make all announcements, as required and do very little talking between songs and (NEVER MAKE WISE CRACKS) about the guest.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
NO. I come to play not eat.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
What Break?
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
No. In my 10 years I have NEVER missed an event.
What is your overtime rate?
$50.00 per 1/2 hour for wedding receptions and $35.00 per 1/2 hour for general parties
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
I only charge extra for gas money if the event is a very long way away.
