We hired David Grimm as our DJ for our wedding and it was a fantastic experience. From the start he was super responsive, professional, and attentive to our requests. He personally mixed our first dance song into something my wife and I truly loved. For the 1-month out details, he was very organized getting everything he needed to us in a timely manner. And most importantly on the night of our wedding we was the perfect DJ to vibe with the crowd and keep the party going! He paid special attention to the songs we wanted to play throughout the night while mixing in his own creative elements that made our night feel truly magical!

He is the kind of DJ I would love to interact with as a guest at a wedding, and he is the perfect DJ I could not recommend more to work with if you are planning your wedding!

David did an incredible job as our DJ. Going into the process I wasn’t really sure what would make a wedding DJ good or not. As musicians and music nerds, my husband and I very much cared what got played and wanted to choose our music, not have someone putting on whatever is popular right now. In hindsight, I can see so many ways David specifically helped make our day awesome:

David was very communicative and gave us plenty of options in the planning process. If we had any questions or concerns he was quick to answer. We asked about photobooths and he gave us a digital option and a print option with pricing up front.

We had David running sound for our pre ceremony and ceremony, then we had a jazz band for cocktail hour, and then back to David for the reception. Everything flowed seamlessly, everyone could hear our vows, it was great. All of the speeches were easy to hear too.

My husband and I are musicians and he convinced us that we should perform a song at our wedding. He handled the sound and microphones so all we had to do was bring our guitars. Everyone said the sound was great. We were both so glad we did it.

He had us make different playlists for the reception and the dinner and the pre ceremony and send them ahead of time, and we definitely made overlong playlists and that were rather eclectic. At our wedding, it was very clear that he had spent time going through them and actually understood us and our sort of musical identity. We knew that not every song would be played and I had intended to make a list of my “must plays” but never got around to it. Turns out I didn’t need to, because he just intuited all my favorites from the [over six hours long] list! We have a handful of songs we would consider “our songs” and he played every one of them. I have two tattoos for songs (which he did not know about) and he played them back to back during dinner. It was seriously magical. There were songs I loved that I knew were a little random and maybe unlikely to be played, but he worked them in. Yes, I actually got to hear The Hands That Thieve by Streetlight Manifesto at my wedding.

For our pre ceremony music we had a number of acoustic legend of zelda covers, some classical music, and some instrumental anime music. There’s a tradition to bury a bottle of bourbon upside down a month before your wedding to ward off rain on your wedding day. We went to dig up our bottle and the very first song David played as we started digging was the song of storms, which is a song you play to start rain, from video games that came out over 20 years ago. It was BRILLIANT.

For the ceremony, I wanted to make sure the song I walked down the aisle to (Rachmaninoff’s 18th variation on a theme of Paganini) got at least to a certain point before cutting out, and David made it happen.

For our entrances, we picked out a song for our bridesmaids to walk in to, a song for the groomsmen, and a song for us. We wanted our song to start at a very specific moment, which I had described as something like, “1:11 from the end, the static right before the piano comes in” and he got it exactly right. The crowd went wild.

Both of our aisle songs and our entrance song had to be recorded from spotify (I’m guessing they were obscure enough to not be available for purchase) and he sent us the files ahead of time to make sure everything was correct. It was.

On our RSVPs we had taken song requests and anything we didn’t hate went on our reception playlist as an option. But somehow he avoided the songs we didn’t really care about and only played things we really wanted to hear. We told him we did not want people to just go up and make open requests. One of my bridesmaids went to request a song and his initial response was no requests, but when they confirmed the song she wanted to hear was on our approved playlist, he did play it. This was the only exception of sorts and exactly what I would’ve wanted to happen in that scenario. He also didn’t let people randomly take over the microphone either. My husband’s cousin ran the shoe game for us and he didn’t hand it over until he was sure she was supposed to have it.

Sometime during the dance party bit, David came and asked us if there was anything we hadn’t heard yet that we wanted to hear, which was good because we hadn’t heard the pokemon theme song yet. A little later on he asked if I had a final song in mind. Every millennial wedding I’ve been to recently had ended with Mr. Brightside, but he had already played it, so I was totally blanking on ideas. He said that was fine, he’d find something good. He ended up picking Blue Dahlia by The Gaslight Anthem, which was again not the popular choice but one of my favorite songs of all time. It was perfect.

All throughout the night, he kept the energy up and the dance floor never seemed to empty. We were told by multiple vendors it is highly unusual to have so many people stay at a wedding so long, and we had many older people come tell us that ours was the best wedding they had ever been to, and that is probably for multiple reasons, but David was definitely one of them.

Mark was fantastic, he put together a great music selection, and made the reception extremely enjoyable! Many of our guests complimented Mark on his work, and people were on the dance floor the whole night!

We hired Signature Talent to serve as the DJ and MC of our wedding reception in Leesburg, VA at Rose Hill. We worked with DJ Eric and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Before the event, Eric was flexible and met with us a few times to ensure he understood our vision and how we wanted the night to turn out. Day of, he was prompt, knew the venue well, and ran with our vision creating a perfect evening. He read the room well and turned over songs when the dance floor started to die down. The setup he brought was professional and sounded great.

Overall, couldn't ask for a better experience with a wedding vendor.

David was an awesome DJ and great to work with. He made the whole process easy, fun, and relaxing. I never had to worry for a second about the music. We had an absolute blast dancing throughout the whole reception and all the guests were dancing and having a great time. He worked with a saxophonist, Fred, who I would also highly recommend.

I can't say enough positive things about the experience I had at my wedding with David at the helm of the music. If you're looking for a great DJ for your wedding, David is your guy.

I cannot say enough about David Grimm. He made the entire process from booking until our sending song seamless and unforgettable. I asked about a week before the wedding if David could use an instrumental track for a song I wanted to sing for my husband at the wedding. He did one better, he took the original movie track and just removed the vocals, making it much more authentic and special. This man even modulated the song for me within 30 seconds for a performance at the ceremony, because my voice was a little hoarse. He played nothing that we had not personally chosen, listened to us throughout the evening, and kept a pulse on the ceremony and reception to adjust for everything. I cannot thank David enough for his hard work in making that day the best of our lives.

DJ Eric was hands down the best DJ we could have asked for. Responsive, flexible and just a great person. He killed it on the night of the wedding, everything we asked for was executed to perfection. Signature Talent LLC is a fantastic organization if you are looking for the perfect DJ. If we could do it over again we would not change a thing!

I cannot recommend DJ David Grimm from Signature Talent LLC enough. During a time when there are a million things to plan and stress over, David made my fiancé and I feel completely at ease every time we talked. I trusted him completely to make our vision come to life on our wedding day and he far surpassed anything I could’ve imagined. He honored every request I had of him and played to my guests perfectly. The dance floor was full the entire night, and David even came out with drums while we were dancing which my guests and I LOVED. If you’re looking for a DJ who is talented, professional, and genuinely invested in making your wedding unforgettable, David is the one. Hiring him was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day.

Dave was a huge asset to our wedding day. His steady presence as the MC ensured with things flowed smoothly, and he helped us fulfill our dreams of having a full dance floor! He was calm and cool when we unexpectedly had to shift from live ceremony music to recordings just a few days before the ceremony, and he helped edit a few tracks for our special dances. Since our wedding, multiple guests have commented on how fantastic the DJ was, referencing not only the packed dance floor, but also the clear and concise instruction Dave provided throughout the night. We did something a bit non-traditional and had guests dance for two songs immediately after cocktail hour and leading into our entrance. We were nervous in the run up that it wouldn’t work since it’s not what’s familiar, but it was a huge success. With his guidance, guests knew what was needed of them even though it broke the typical mold. We just had the best time, and it all felt easy and elegant with Dave at the helm. He really respected our music taste and delivered banger after banger on the dance floor (seriously, I almost abandoned changing out of my gown because I didn’t want to leave the dance floor). Dave will support your vision for your day and make every single guest feel at ease. He will not only deliver his amazing DJ work but also amazing leadership!

Dave Grimm of Signature Talent LLC provides excellent, highly professional coordination services. He set us up with Sean Webb (DJ Wonder) for our cocktail hour and reception and Atoka Strings for our ceremony. The experience was wonderful, DJ Wonder was incredibly friendly and easy-going. My husband and I aren’t big “party people” and he made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. He is a very talented DJ who actually pairs songs and mixes fun transitions! He was a great MC as well! Going through Signature Talent made the entire process feel so easy.
