My husband and I got married the weekend of June 6th, and Dapper DJs was truly the life of our party!

We chose Najee as our DJ, and from our very first meeting, we knew he was the perfect fit for us. He meshed so well with our personalities, nerded out with us, and genuinely seemed just as excited about our wedding as we were. Even though weddings are what he does all the time, he never made ours feel like just another event on his calendar. Every time we talked with him, he made our wedding feel like the most important one he had coming up.

The planning process itself was also incredibly easy. The website Dapper DJs uses was so helpful for organizing everything in one place. We were able to upload the overall vibe we wanted, our ceremony music, background playlists, favorite songs, and, maybe most importantly, our do-not-play list! By the time our wedding arrived, we felt like Najee completely understood us and the kind of night we wanted.

And then he absolutely delivered. Najee brought SO much energy to our wedding and knew exactly how to read the room. There was hardly a moment when the dance floor wasn’t packed. He wasn’t just standing behind the DJ booth playing music either. He was dancing, interacting with everyone, and partying right alongside us all night. There was never a dull moment.

He was also an amazing MC. We had several announcements and little things we wanted shared with our guests throughout the evening, and he worked every single one in seamlessly without making the night feel interrupted or overly structured. He even announced little moments I never would have thought of, like reminding people to fill their drinks before toasts began.

What impressed us most, though, was something we didn’t even find out about until afterward. A crazy storm came through right before our reception and actually knocked over one of Najee’s speakers. Somehow, he managed to check and fix his own equipment on the fly while also helping with other things around the venue that had blown over or gotten messed up in the storm. Through all of that, his energy and professionalism never changed.

As the bride and groom, we had absolutely NO IDEA any of it had happened. We just kept enjoying our wedding while Najee handled everything behind the scenes. That is truly all you can ask for from the people you trust with your wedding day.

Najee gave us exactly the kind of party we dreamed about and more! He kept the dance floor full, kept the night moving, handled the unexpected without missing a beat, and genuinely celebrated right alongside us. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ or MC for our wedding!

We loved working with Marcos and Dapper DJs! Marcos was the perfect DJ for our wedding, and our guests still haven't stopped telling us how much they loved him and how incredible the dance floor was. He had everyone dancing all night long, with seamless transitions between songs right up until the very last beat.

He did an amazing job balancing our different tastes, from honoring a special request from my dad to play at least one Grateful Dead song, to spinning all my favorite Jonas Brothers and Taylor Swift tracks. He even managed to get the entire room up and moving to a Hannah Montana throwback!

If you want a DJ who listens to exactly what you want, keeps the energy sky-high, and reads the room perfectly, Marcos is your guy. I would recommend Dapper DJs and Marcos to anybody who is looking for a fun, amazing wedding dance party

I'm an event planner - so we are always using DJ's for events. Hands down, the Dapper DJ's were by far the best DJ's we've ever used. Alex knew exactly how to get everyone on the dance floor - and to keep them there- at our wedding. Even people who never dance were out there and having the time of their life saying "I've never had so much fun dancing!" Alex and his team have a laid back, casual style that is warm, welcoming and refreshing. And then they deliver in a way that makes your crowd smile. Simply amazing.

Alex was absolutely amazing, he worked with us before our wedding to make sure the day was seamless. We really appreciated that he was able to coordinate with our string instrument team during the ceremony as well. The team was fast to respond whenever we needed anything. Alex was the perfect addition and made the night so fun!

We worked with Soolah for our wedding and she was an absolute gem. She and the rest of the Dapper DJs team made the entire process a breeze. Their online portal was nice and easy and Soolah was communicative the entire time to ensure we had everything set up to go. We had some unconventional things during our reception (live singer for first dance, etc) and she made sure we knew it wasn’t the tiniest bit of an issue. During our reception, she had one of the co-owners with her as well, Jack. I got to have a lovely chat with him about their business, the job, and just various other things that was an absolute pleasure. In general, they’re just good people all across the board. Not to mention that Soolah kept the vibes up all night long!! Wonderful people, wonderful DJs, for a wonderful price!

Booking the Dapper DJs for our wedding was one of the best choices we made during our entire planning process. They were very easy to book and communicate with. When it came to the actual wedding, our DJ, Najee, was a huge hit! So many of our guests told us how much they liked him and the energy he brought. Due to a weather mishap, we had to extend the dancing hours of our wedding but Najee didn’t miss a beat. He kept the energy high and the party going for hours and made the wedding an epic dance party of all our guests. We had a blast thanks to Najee!

We had the pleasure of working with Najee for our wedding and could not have had a better experience. You can tell he is passionate about his job, and it really showed on our wedding day. He was professional and brought great energy throughout the day. We received SO many compliments on the music during our reception. Would highly recommend working with Dapper DJs!!

Brent was wonderful to work with! Walking through and building our playlists for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was one of the top most (if not the top most) enjoyable part of the wedding planning process. Brent offered us a ton of fun ideas and, by the end of dinner, had just about everyone up on their feet dancing all night! Thank you so much for making our day so much more memorable!

The Dapper DJ's are awesome!!! Najee was our DJ at our wedding and was so much fun! He read the room well and played great music!
