I use several techniques when editing. I always shoot in a RAW format and convert every image individually by hand. I adjust the brightness, contrast and color individually.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I can work in any lighting situation. However, out of respect for the service, I do not use my flash during the actual ceremony.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot 100% digital
How many photographers do you work with?
I normally do all the work myself. If you request a second shooter, I have several professional partners I could call on.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Barring any severe illness or car accident, I will be at your wedding myself. If the rare situation arises, I have several professional photographers I could call in my absence.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I only book one wedding per day. I want to make sure to give your wedding my full attention.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I bring my canon camera, lenses, flash and tripod
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Do you charge hourly or full day?
I normally charge full day, but hourly rates can be negotiated.

Yes, $100 per hour overtime, if hourly

How long can the client keep the proofs?
I normally sit down with the bride and groom and help you decide your prints and sizes in your home.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
yes, unless negotiated during booking
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
yes
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
If negotiated, yes. Otherwise I keep your images indefinitely.
Will images be available for viewing online?
yes
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer many different types of wedding albums and many different price points. We will find the best option for your price point.
When will the client get the final album?
Depending on your choice and provider, anywhere from 1 week to 4 weeks. Different manufactures have different shipment times. I will keep you posted.
