Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Passion for creating the most outstanding images i can. Seriously though I am a photoshop and lightroom expert and I am intimately familar with all current processing trends.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
A professional wedding photographer must be able to shoot in all situations. I do use off camera strobe lighting (both studio and camera mount type) where applicable for dramatic (and pretty) effect.
Is your media preference film or digital?
The only film camera I ever used was made by Fisher Price. I started shooting digital in 2003.
How many photographers do you work with?
I work alone but do have associates that I work with to hire and work as second shooter. We have agreed to back up each others schedules in case of personal emergency.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
As soon as I recieve initial deposit I direct new inquiries to an associate photographer. I will be the photographer at your wedding.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I will not book 2 events in 1 day. I do book more than 1 wedding in a weekend if scheduling permits.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have relationships with many other photographers in the area and we have arrangements to cover each other in the case of a severe (I died or am almost dead) emergency.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Top of the line and up to date camera bodies and lenses. I shoot CANON and am a photography gearhead.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
I have backups of everything and bring them to every event. Some items have 2 backups and my equipment is inspected and tested regularly.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
My packages are divided up and vary in the amount of hourly coverage. Most wedding packages now include full day coverage.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
I am available for shooting overtime rates vary by base package.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I am a photography robot and will recharge my batteries when offered a meal and go right back to capturing the event happening around me.
Do you charge for travel?
Not within the NYC area. I am available for destination events and charge for travel.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Photos garanteed online in 4 weeks - I have never taken more than 2.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
I do not post or print unedited photos. Every photo you will ever see will be post-processed. Online proofing at www.infocusnyc.com Certain packages include 4x6 proofs and proofbooks are available upon request for an additional cost.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Your gallery will remain online for all eternity indexed by year. Printed proofs are yours to keep forever.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
The copyright is yours.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
I do in contract but always ask for permission anyway.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
All packages now include either a watermark-free web resolution or full resolution DVD.
Will images be available for viewing online?

What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer 2 different custom layout flush mount albums. Asukabook (www.asukabook.com) is the base book included in album packages and Kiss Wedding Books (www.kissweddingbooks.com)are upgrades.
When will the client get the final album?
1 month after final proofing. My clients approve their book design before the book goes to print.
