"I am deeply in love with photography. I love people with even greater passion. I like to think that these are among the most important qualifications a photographer can have. I have the experience. I have the technical knowledge. I have the equipment. But, the ability to connect with my subject, and to see the connections between others, and to capture that moment in time for posterity is why I do this. It's a sweet little victory every time it happens."

You want to feel a connection with the one who will create your visual legacy. You also want to know that visual legacy will be made in a way that is consistent with your own dreams and desires. It may be helpful to know that George likes to make friends - and to do work that stands out from the crowd. This is true of many people, really. But, when the rubber hits the road, holding on to that philosophy and following through is the ultimate test. George commits to you and to your very special project as passionately and perfectly as humanly possible.

George is an internationally published and nationally award-winning photographer (for the latest, search "Best of ASMP 2010"). He has recently published his first large-format coffee-table art book on Greek churches. He began his career seventeen years ago as an advertising and editorial photographer. In 2008, he turned his attention to weddings, as well, and has found that he tremendously enjoys the work and the people he has the opportunity to work with. In the commercial photography world, intense competition requires that expectations are exceeded consistently. George has learned to operate this way and carries this ethos over to his wedding work without sacrificing an easy manner and a smiling face.

George lives with his wife and daughter, and has his studio, in Winthrop, MA, a little hamlet on Boston Harbor. He has traveled throughout the world on assignment and shooting in far-away locations is another particular passion.
