We recently hired Nicole Baas to do the photos for my daughter's recent wedding. She was fantastic!!! She is located in Boston but went down the Cape to do an engagement shoot and the day of the wedding she came to the hotel where we were staying, the church and then out to the Gardens at Elm Bank where she took beautiful photographs in the lush gardens. Nicole was an AMAZING wedding photographer. I felt comfortable around her right away when we met and this was huge for our wedding day since she was around us all day! Nicole was responsive and eager to help make recommendations and talk through timing throughout the wedding planning process. She was fun to have around as we were getting ready and helped stage shots that we wanted but also just took plenty of candids. Nicole was so easy to be around; everyone in our families was happy to have her around and taking pictures. Nicole gave the perfect amount of advice and instruction while letting us be ourselves and comfortable throughout the more formal portraits. She helped us get all the group shots we wanted throughout the evening and took plenty of candids of us having fun too! It was great that Nicole knew our venue (the State Room) and brought all the appropriate equipment to take shots in the specific lighting it has. We HIGHLY recommend Nicole!

Nicole is an amazing wedding photographer! We love that she shoots photos in both film and digital and that she does a nice mixture of color and black and white photos. We shot engagement photos with her the fall before our summer wedding and she was great in getting us comfortable with being photographer (we were a little nervous and might have been giggling a bit too much the entire time). On the day of the wedding, both my husband and I were more than impressed that Nicole was so patient and professional and even helped us manage our time with the venue and caterer when things fell behind. She was so attentive and made us feel so special. We loved that she helped capture formals with our family and friends and then became a stealthy ninja to capture plenty of candid shots. We highly recommend her for any sort of photography and hope that we'll have an opportunity to work with her in the future!

While in search of a wedding photographer I came across Nicole Baas and once I looked through her portfolio on her website I knew I had to book her. Her photos are beautiful and she has a very talented eye. She didn't make us feel cheesy and really captured our moments during our engagement photos as well as out wedding day beautifully.

Nicole was amazing! She worked with us during our engagement session to make sure we weren't an awkward mess in our wedding pictures. When we decided about a month before the wedding that we wanted to change the times she was at the wedding, it was no problem at all. She was always responsive, completely professional, and most importantly a lot of fun to work with! And our pictures are gorgeous--we couldn't have asked for anything more! We were so lucky to have hired Nicole for our October 2016 wedding. I love that she uses film- so rare to see but produces one of a kind images. Nicole was a pleasure to work with in the days leading up to our wedding. During the wedding itself, she was everything we could have wanted in a photographer- prompt, organized, and mindful (some guests didn't even realizing she was shooting our ceremony!). Nicole set up our first look perfectly, and even though it was her first time shooting at our venue, she knew exactly where she wanted the shots. During dinner she approached us and asked, if it wasn't too much trouble, could we go outside for a second because the sunset was perfect? So considerate and those photos are some of my favorites. Recieved the photos about 6 weeks after the wedding- impressive considering the holiday timeframe. We are still choosing photos for our album, but have no doubts the quality will be fantastic based on the prints we received. Thank you Nicole!
