Nikki is the first vendor we booked! She was recommended by a friend who had the most beautiful, quintessential Boston photos and when I spoke with her on the phone she was so wonderful. The day of our engagement shoot, I had my hair and makeup trial. I was so upset with my hair and makeup that I called her crying because I was running late. Without hesitation she said "Don't worry about it! Let's reschedule to another weekend!" even though she was already downtown waiting for us. She wanted me to be comfortable with the way I looked before we started. A few months later COVID hit, we postponed our wedding, canceled it, then planned a small backyard wedding. Nikki was so accommodating, supportive, and flexible throughout the many months of changing plans. The week before our wedding we had a call to discuss our timeline and Nikki allowed (suggested, actually) us to change our package time to account for the smaller guest list and the fact that we did not need as many hours of photography. We had our sneak peeks within 24 hours of the wedding (which is INSANELY fast) and our full album of photos just a week or so later. Our photos are SO unbelievably gorgeous and I still haven't been able to select the top 50 for our album. Nikki is an amazing photographer but also such a lovely person to work with. Her second photographer, Wayne, was also amazing and captured the best photos of my husband getting ready with his brothers. He had ideas of great photos for us, and they are some of my favorite! We are so thankful for both of them!!

Our Sept 2024 Boston wedding photos are absolutely stunning, and we owe a huge thank you to Erin and her team! They truly captured the magic of our day, expertly balancing candid and posed shots. We felt like we could truly enjoy the day. It didn't feel like we had huge chunks of time carved for photos, which was something we were nervous about. With my husband having a large family, Erin was a true pro, seamlessly navigating all the different family photo combinations with grace and patience. Erin maintained a calming presence throughout the day and planning process, which was incredibly reassuring. She is also a fantastic listener, truly understanding our vision and incorporating our personal touches into the photos. Erin is incredibly detail-oriented and captured so many moments perfectly. Her and her team were contagious high energy, keeping the party atmosphere lively and fun. We also had the pleasure of doing two engagement shoots with Erin, and both were so much fun. Erin has a wonderful sense of humor and kept us laughing throughout the entire process. She also knew fantastic spaces to shoot in Boston. We did one shoot in Seaport and another at the Arnold Arboretum. And let's not forget her adorable dog, Brooklyn, who she brought along to one of the shoots! We wholeheartedly recommend Erin of Boston. She was one of the first vendors we chose for our wedding and we are so happy we did.

I had the pleasure of having Rebecca do our wedding photography. She had done both my maternity shoots prior to our wedding and we were so excited to find out she was available for our wedding day. The questionnaire she sent us was so thorough to make sure not a single detail was left out. She is extremely professional and just so fun to work with. I am always the one taking pictures of my family but she always makes you feel so comfortable and gets the best pictures. She is also extremely affordable which is a huge plus! We get all the pictures she takes so there is no need to pick and choose. I will recommend her and her company over and over again to anyone looking and will continue to utilize her services for further photoshoots!

I’m copying my review over from Google Reviews (in case you’re seeing this twice): Finding the right wedding photographer is so much harder than one might expect. We 100% support paying artists for their work. That said, it is definitely cost prohibitive if you’re on a budget. Style is another huge factor. My husband and I were very cautious with this. We didn’t want the photographer’s style to conflict with the true colors of the day. We planned everything so carefully, and weren’t interested in an alternative or otherwise dramatic style/filtering that washed us out, or an over saturated look that didn’t represent our day. It was my sister who found Chrissy for us. I don’t know how we missed her when doing our research. After seeing her work, we knew she was the hidden gem we were looking for. From our first conversation, she was completely in line with how we wanted our family photographed, understood what we wanted style wise, and reassured us we’d be taken care of from start to finish. During our final meeting, we talked about the feeling of the pics. We wanted to look like a family, not stiff or overly posed, and we weren’t interested in silly poses, although she said she definitely can do those if asked by the couple. I was holding my sister’s hands in the pics, looking at my family, laughing, our arms around each-other. It looked like a happy family event, which was exactly how it felt. She captured the delirious love my husband and I felt on the day. None of it was cheesy or over-done, the moments she captured were just pure joy, posed in such natural ways along with candids. Her ability to improvise was fantastic. I grabbed my mom’s wedding photo off of the wall in my parent’s home at one point and set it up, and she started taking pics of me posing like my mom in the photo, one with my mom in the background. She left us all to finish getting ready while she did the details shots. We had several photos we wanted to take once the reception started, and she was so patient as we tried herding everyone we wanted together. Her sunset photos were magical. It was just wonderful to be able to escape the craziness of the reception to just look at each-other on that beautiful night as the sun set on the blue hills. At the end of the night we felt like friends. From beginning to end she was an absolute joy to work with. I would recommend anyone who is looking for an affordable, accommodating, talented, and kind photographer to speak with Chrissy.
