I can't say enough about Chrissy and her photography. I hired her for both my engagement shoot and my wedding, and I could not have chosen a better photographer. From inquiry to delivery, Chrissy was so responsive and collaborative. We chose a not so normal scene for our engagement shoot, and she took it with great excitement and worked her creative magic! The photos came out spectacular, and I am still flaunting them to this day over 2 years later. When it came to our wedding day, she went above and beyond to ensure she captured every moment of our special day. She is creative, with an out of the box eye for beautiful picturesque photos, that are truly second to none. It was such a pleasure working with her, as she is one of the nicest people you will encounter in the wedding industry. She guides you with flawless elegance to achieve a stunning outcome.

Finding the right wedding photographer is so much harder than one might expect. We 100% support paying artists for their work. That said, it is definitely cost prohibitive if you’re on a budget. Style is another huge factor. My husband and I were very cautious with this. We didn’t want the photographer’s style to conflict with the true colors of the day. We planned everything so carefully, and weren’t interested in an alternative or otherwise dramatic style/filtering that washed us out, or an over saturated look that didn’t represent our day.

It was my sister who found Chrissy for us. I don’t know how we missed her when doing our research. After seeing her work, we knew she was the hidden gem we were looking for. From our first conversation, she was completely in line with how we wanted our family photographed, understood what we wanted style wise, and reassured us we’d be taken care of from start to finish.

During our final meeting, we talked about the feeling of the pics. We wanted to look like a family, not stiff or overly posed, and we weren’t interested in silly poses, although she said she definitely can do those if asked by the couple.

I was holding my sister’s hands in the pics, looking at my family, laughing, our arms around each-other. It looked like a happy family event, which was exactly how it felt. She captured the delirious love my husband and I felt on the day. None of it was cheesy or over-done, the moments she captured were just pure joy, posed in such natural ways along with candids.

Her ability to improvise was fantastic. I grabbed my mom’s wedding photo off of the wall in my parent’s home at one point and set it up, and she started taking pics of me posing like my mom in the photo, one with my mom in the background. She left us all to finish getting ready while she did the details shots. We had several photos we wanted to take once the reception started, and she was so patient as we tried herding everyone we wanted together.

Her sunset photos were magical. It was just wonderful to be able to escape the craziness of the reception to just look at each-other on that beautiful night as the sun set on the blue hills.

At the end of the night we felt like friends. From beginning to end she was an absolute joy to work with. I would recommend anyone who is looking for an affordable, accommodating, talented, and kind photographer to speak with Chrissy. Chrissy is a talented photographer and a warm person, making her an excellent choice for a wedding! I met Chrissy through photographing three of my friends' weddings (once as a bridesmaid), so when it came to be our turn, it was an easy decision. Being photographed can be awkward, but she makes it comfortable while capturing lovely moments. We had an intimate wedding in 2020 and a larger party in 2021, thus were lucky to work with her twice. She jumped at our idea to take photos on a mountain side, near waterfalls, and a "first look" with our cakes. Photos are such precious memories, and we couldn't be happier with ours. She is responsive, very easy to work with, gracious, and a pleasure to be around. Thank you, Chrissy!

Chrissy has an amazing way of understanding the personality of her subjects and translating it to her photos. Our wedding was unique, in a historic location with some tricky lighting and 'do not touch' requirements and she did awesome. Our photos and memories of that day bring me so.much joy. 10/10 would recommend!

Chrissy was absolutely amazing! She is personable, funny, and has an expert eye for capturing moments. My husband and I had a Zoom wedding, so it was very important to us that we had someone highly skilled there to capture and preserve the memories of our big day. On our wedding day, my husband and I got into the ocean to take photos, she was all for it. She made the process of a photo shoot fun and feel natural. We thought she did a magnificent job on our wedding day, but once we got the photos that is when it was clear that Chrissy is a true artist. Not only were the photos beautiful, but she made it so personal and easy to access. Two words of advice after working with Chrissy. Hire her. I’ve known Chrissy for many years, and when the opportunity came up to have her as the photographer in our wedding I couldn’t be more excited. Although our wedding was very small & low-key (ceremony on the beach, reception at the family Cape house), you would never have known that by looking at these photos. Chrissy is truly so talented at capturing the essence of wedding photography from start to finish. The whole process was so fun and enjoyable. She so perfectly captured those “beachy-feeling” vibes I was hoping for. One of the best things about looking back at these photos that you wouldn’t often think about when selecting a photographer, is the way she captured all of our friends & family genuinely enjoying themselves.
