We are tailored to each individual couple and their needs. Once you have decided to use us as your photographic supplier, you will be given a photo checklist to ensure you get the pictures you want of the most important day of your life Crystal Image Photography is located in Apppomattox, Virginia and we offer services in both VA and portions of NC. strongly believe that you are the customer and should get the type of portraits you want. Chances are you or someone you know has either been in or at a wedding where the photographer was rude and pushy. You won't find that here! I am married; therefore, I know exactly what it's like to be a nervous bride on her wedding day and wanting everything to be perfect. We do our utmost to work with each bride and her family from the engagement session to the wedding day to make them feel comfortable. My association with CIP started last year at my wedding. Crystal takes beautiful pictures and we have worked several of the same events since then.

How do you identify your primary photographic style? We shoot a combination of both traditional and photojournalistic. We pride ourselves on being able to offer the type of photography that our customers want..not the same style for each bride and groom.

Please describe any special techniques you offer: we shoot our wedding in color, b&W and show proofs and previews in color, b&W and spot color and sepia with no additional charge.

How many photographers do you work with? 1 or 2

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? yes

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day? never

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day? yes

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? we use professional canon equipment (3) cameras, with backup camera and flashes

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? yes

Do you charge hourly or full day? we have packages or build your own in which hourly coverage can be purchased

If hourly, are you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you charge for overtime? yes, $125 per hour

Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal? no

How many breaks do you usually take throughout the day? we only stop shooting when we are waiting on the bridal party to get ready, find people in their party, etc.

Do you charge for travel? only for events 2 hours away from the studio

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? 1 week or sooner

In what format are the initial proofs offered? customers view proofs online 1 week after wedding and then receive paper proofs 2 to 3 weeks after the wedding

How long can the couple keep the proofs? 2 weeks

Do you retain the copyright for the photos? we sell the copyright if needed/wanted

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? yes

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple? only if the copyright is purchased

Will images be available for viewing on an online gallery? yes
