We wanted to know what kind of worries hop into grooms' heads on their wedding day. So, we decided to ask the sources!

Here are a few of our favorite day-of thoughts from the grooms themselves.

"I am so excited to finally see how beautiful she will look in her wedding dress. (She looked stunning by the way, definitely not disappointed!"

"I better not cry because that will cause her to cry a lot more than she already is going to be crying."

"This is my first performance ever in front of anyone, and I am doing it in front of all of our friends and family? I must be the dumbest person in the world. What did I get myself into?"

"Oh my god, I hope I don't forget the words to the song."

"My biggest thought was to make sure I kept my composure when I saw her walking down the aisle for the first time. We had purposefully avoided a first look to preserve that moment, and I was afraid my excitement would lead to me getting emotional in front of everyone we knew. Fortunately, I kept it together, and will always remember it as one of the best moments of my life." - Joey married Catherine on October 4 in Stevensville, Maryland.

"My second biggest thought was the hope that the weather cooperated come wedding time. There was a torrential downpour the night before, to the point that our venue was flooded the morning of the wedding. However, the weather gods conspired to bring the sun out a couple hours before we started, which dried everything up and led to a picture-perfect ceremony. Future grooms: never worry about the weather; you can't control it, so don't waste your energy on it."

"Lastly, I really hoped Virginia Tech beat UNC in the football game that afternoon! Not only are we Hokies, but the overwhelming majority of our guests are Hokies too, and a win that day would certainly be great for positive energy (and a great sign for our marriage too!)."

"For a moment, I was convinced I ruined everything. At the time I had a fairly large beard. I had thought about shaving it off for the wedding, but Amanda begged me to keep it. I decided to only trim it, which I did about one hour before the ceremony. When I was doing so, the guard on my trimming slipped, and I ended up taking off about 90 percent of the length of a large area on my chin. I ended up having to even it all out to that length. I was convenience it looked looked horrible and was scared Amanda would be upset. Of course, in the end, it was not a big deal." - Marshall married Amanda on November 1 in Kansas City, Missouri

"Why did we pick a 5-minute first dance song? I can't dance."
