Who is the first person you told about your engagement?

One of my personal training clients who became one of my best friends/greatest
supporter! Her and her husband have always supported and accepted my relationship and Always been there for us!

I had to tell my mom right away so we drove until we found service and Face-timed her!

I told my best friend hope first and she is my maid of honor so ya

It was my mom, however she knew before me because he asked her permission. He brought her big boutique of flowers on the day I wasn't home and that's when he asked her for my hand. She did not want to tell me where she got the flowers from once I got back home and asked her. Then it was his parents but they also knew 😊

My immediate family. He had told them before we left on the trip so they were waiting. I just texted a picture of my hand to our group chat and then they started calling me. I couldn't pick to call one over the other so that hit them all at the same time.

My mother.

The first person I told was my little sister. She’s my best friend and we live together so it was kind of a give in.

View Quoted Comment Yes I was because I did not saw it coming at all. We been celebrating our monthy anniversaries since we started dating back in October 2010. And that was our 7 years and 5 months anniversary, we were going to sunset dinner and after we finished eating the waiter brought us champagne. That's when I knew it was happening and that's when he got down to 1 knee and proposed. I was crying so much but it was the most perfect moment 😍❤️ I just wish I remember everything what he was saying while proposing and he doesn't remember either too much emotions lol.

My mom. She knew what was happening but not what time in the day so she texted me right after it happened and asked what I was doing lol I told her I was getting engaged. She was so happy

My mom! And everything after that was a blur. haha!

My closest family was there when it happened which would’ve been the people I told first. After that it was my closest friend at that time and he told his aunts and cousins right after

There wasn’t it was a private party of friends and family

My in-laws were present for our engagement, as well as two of our friends. For me, the first person I facetimed with were my parents! They already knew he was proposing, as he called to ask for their blessing the prior day. Then I called my sisters!

The first person I told was my best friend. My parents my sister and brother was there for the proposal.
