Who is the first person you told about your engagement?

Technically, my group chat with my three best friends. We all knew it was coming and had been talking about it for weeks so while we were in the car headed to his sister's I sent them a pic. Went directly to his sister's after it happened, then to his mom's, back home to my sister, and then to Facebook!

I called my mother right after it happened!

I texted my mom (who told my dad) first! Then my sister, then brother, then my four best friends, then we put it on Facebook for everyone else to know! Obviously he texted his family before social media 😉

My daughter! She knew he was going to do it but she’s the only one I told that night!

My best friend and sister were there. They are the most important people to me besides my wife and son. Then her best friend. And coworkers when we went to work the next day. We eventually told the rest of our family. We wanted to enjoy it basically. Being in a same sex marriage we didn’t want mixed reviews to rain on our parade!

My sister/MOH was the very first person I told which is fitting because I was the first person she told when she got engaged last year!

Well everyone knew I was getting engaged so I didn’t reallt need to tell anyone except extended family. And my family were all there when he proposed.

My mom and sister. I sent them a message which was a good way to tell them as they don't make a fuss over weddings so telling them in person or calling would have just been to much as they would rather get a message, letter, or card.

My engagement was very public. So AT LEAST 50+ people knew about it lol. I knew it was coming because my parents kept dropping hints the day off (way to ruin a surprise LOL). I guess they were happen because I'm the first daughter to get married in the family!
