We LOVED working with Emily!! When I tell you we interviewed a lot of photographers, I mean we talked to probably at least a dozen different photographers trying to find a good fit. There are a lot of talented photogs in the Akron/Cleveland area, and we probably wouldn’t have made the wrong choice with any of them, but when we talked to Emily, we immediately loved her matter-of-fact confidence and calmness! For someone like me, an artist who has a ton of ideas and a LOT of excitement around her wedding, and for my husband who is a veeerrry go with the flow kinda guy, Emily was the perfect choice! She was direct, honest, caring, and kept us on track throughout the whole process, but especially on wedding day itself! Our families are huge, and our guest list was almost 300 people. We wanted to do large extended family photos for all 4 sides of our families, and she made the process smooth and painless. She kept the day moving, made sure we got the important shots that would be meaningful for us, and helped us make gametime decisions when we were running a tad behind our schedule. Overall, I felt confident that we were going to have a lot of amazing pictures! After the wedding, we only got 5 shots as sneak peeks, which was definitely less than I anticipated, but we got them literally the next day, so that was awesome! Then she sent a highlight gallery maybe a month and a half later with about 100 photos. That was really fun because we were able to use some wedding pics for our holiday card!! Then we got our full gallery, and let me tell you, we are STILL blown away! We got over 2000 photos back which she says is more than usual because I am an artist and hand painted a lot of details, and she was so thorough in capturing those moments!! I have loved getting to share these photos with family and friends, and we are so beyond pleased that we get to have these pictures for the rest of our lives!

Emily should be world renowned. She is so beyond talented. Our jaws are truly on the floor at just our sneak peak photos. From the beginning of the hiring process- she was kind, responsive and just an all around hype girl. Her professionalism and talent will take her far. We used Emily and Kelly for our wedding this past New Year's Eve and I cannot say enough about them. Emily's has a true passion for photography, and weddings in general. She truly cares about making your day the best it can be. She meets with you before the wedding as often as you need, patiently addressing any questions and modestly offering her opinion which was greatly appreciated when everything came together. She has a natural eye for style and her suggestions build off of the vision you already have, making it the best it can be. There were many things that set her apart from other photographers including the fact that she came to the rehearsal and got to know all of our family and friends so she was better able to capture the moments the next day that meant the most to us. One of my favorite things about Emily and Kelly was the fact that they don't simply leave after the cake is cut. She stayed until the end of the wedding and worked through, capturing fun and goofy moments we had so much fun looking at in the weeks since. She was there to catch my husband and I in our midnight kiss and the balloons falling from the ceiling. She was there from 9 am at the salon, to after midnight, taking thousands of pictures, working harder than I could have ever imagined. When our limo broke down multiple times, leaving us only twenty minutes to take bridal party pictures downtown, she stayed calm and got every single shot we wanted...and they were gorgeous. The response I have gotten from family and friends was overwhelming, and we have only seen a preview. Many described our wedding pictures as exactly what they would imagine for the perfect winter wonderland wedding, and this is solely due to Emily's suggestions from the location for the first look to the sweater I was wearing. If you are looking for a photographer who pours her heart and soul into making your wedding everything it could be and who will be flexible and professional, you have found the perfect match.
