Which song are you using for the recessional?

I still haven't found that perfect song to walk back down the aisle to. I think that's the recessional. What are you ladies using?

I'm thinking a Beatles song, but I don't know which yet.

The string quartet's tribute to Radiohead's song "No Surprises". It's my MOH's favorite, and I wanna make her cry. lol.

Here's a couple of Beatles suggestions:

    When I'm 64

    Eight Days a Week

All You Need Is Love (this one might be really good for a recessional because it has a "march-like" feeling to it)

I Want To Hold Your Hand

If you want something with more "bite" consider "Revolution"

    Good luck!

Thanks for the Beatles suggestion! I'm planning on going through their catalog and writing down which songs I'd like played at the reception so I'm sure I'll find a recessional in there too.

We're using "Euchari" by Garmarna. It's in Swedish, which is good, because the lyrics translate to:

    O Euchari In leta via

The sun's warmth trickled into you

    Like the fragrance of balm.

The sun's warmth trickled into me

    Like the fragrance of balm.

    All moving things breathe steadily

    Sweeping across the ground

The sun's warmth trickled into you

    Like the fragrance of balm.

Your hands reach out for me

In the heat of our longing.

My hands reach out for you

In the heat of our longing.

    All moving things breathe heavily

    Sweeping across the ground.

Your hands reach out for me

In the heat of our longing.

It's a beautiful song, and I like that it has that sensuality to it while being in a language none of our guests will understand so that it's not over-emphasized. The sound of the song itself is really warm and sensual, too, though, I feel--perfect for a desert wedding!
