Lauren and Chad met for the first time in 2000, while she was attending East Carolina University and he was working for the campus police department. One of Lauren's good friends was actually Chad's younger sister, Gina. Lauren and Chad knew each other simply as friends through the next 9 years until the amazing world of Facebook came into play. Lauren and Chad had not seen each other for almost 3 years until finding each other on Facebook again. The first night they talked for hours and decided to go out together the upcoming weekend. They talked the next couple of days growing closer and closer, however the whole time planning on taking everything slow. The weekend finally came and Chad came to Greenville to go out with Lauren. That first weekend was simply amazing because they both knew that taking things slow had completely flown out the door....they had fell in love with each other with the first kiss and knew it was meant to be. The days and weeks to follow came naturally to them as if they had actually been together all their lives.
