A delicious cuban restaurant! So sad it doesn't exist anymore! Then he dragged me down the road for dessert and I dragged him to a college party afterwards haha

I joke and say we've had two first dates. The first unofficial first date we went to a show at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis then went to dinner at a local pizza place in St.Cloud, where he was going to school at the time. On our first official date "date" we went to Panera and then a show at a local theater followed by drinks in the theater lounge.

Our first date we went out for Italian and then went to a posh coffee shop. We ended up talking all night until they kicked us out!

A Sushi restaurant in Sunset Hills, Mo, we stayed there till closing time talking

In my opinion, six flags was our first date, but we weren’t technically “together” yet haha so our first date as an actually couple was a simple dinner and a movie

We had been friends for so long before we started dating that it is hard to know where we had our first date. I sort of think our first date was the night that I went to a basketball game on a blind date with another guy. FH was also at that game with another friend of ours. I spent most of the time I was in the box with my date looking at the seats trying to see my friends, because I would've preferred watching the game with them. Once the blind date ended I called FH just to see if I could come chill at his place for a while and unwind from my horrible evening. I would say that was the night our friendship really changed. About a month after that we started fooling around, and even though we had done all sorts of things together as friends in the past, we figured we should go on an "official date" so we went out for a nice dinner. I guess technically our first date was at Herman's Ribhouse.

Oh wow! Sounds like a blast

Our first date was at the Santa Monica Pier on a warm summer afternoon. We arrived around 6 PM and we held sweaty nervous hands and walked around the game and rides. He invited me to board the Ferris Wheel and since I am scared of heights he hugged me tightly as we rode it. We then took a seat by the ocean and we watched the sunset as we drank hot chocolates ad he kept telling me how pretty my eyes looked against the sun. While we were walking out, there was a musical group that was performing live and we slow danced to Selena's Thinking of You song. I knew I loved him then, we'd been hanging out as friends for a few months at this point.

It was at In and Out. Then we went to my dads house where we watched Christmas Vacation, he had never seen it and it was December 3rd.

We went on the typical movies and dinner date. I like to go out to eat on a first date, it gives you a chance to talk, and start to get to know one another.

During my visit he had said that there was that show that he really wanted to see but couldn't get anyone else to go with him, so he asked if I wanted to join him... as a friend! He made it very clear the whole visit that we were Just Friends!.... we started dating a month later 😉

It was a day long event that started with coffee and doughnuts, a movie, hiking and then dinner.
