That's adorable! He conquered his fear for you! I feel like the pirate ship ride would be a tough one for someone who was afraid of rides - I love rides and I'm still a bit scared of the pirate ship hehe

Our first date was a whole day! We went to lunch at a restaurant overlooking the ocean (we live in Florida), played mini golf, got ice cream, strolled the beach, and then went out to the bars with our friends!

January 2016!

He took me to an Indian restaurant and then we went to a meadery where a local band was playing. I still have the bottle from the mead he bought me. We actually picked Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer for our first dance because the band played it and we started making out lol

We were young when we met, 14 & 16. Neither of us had our license yet, so many of our "first dates" were just going to one another's houses. We would take walks in the neighborhood, go hang out in a local park. It was sweet!

We were supposed to go to Top Golf, but it was crazy busy so we ended up going to a little local restaurant for drinks and appetizers instead (oddly enough, we ordered spinach artichoke dip...which both of us hate and find to be completely repulsive lol). We ended up being there for four hours! After we finished up there, we went to a little shaved ice place next door and were there for another 2 hours. It was the perfect first date

View Quoted Comment He’s met the owner quite a few times, they didn’t come over on our first date, but I’ve met him since then! We go there on date night ever so often and he waits tables every now and then to chat with people. It’s pretty cool to see.

Our first real date was a movie - Kung Fu Panda 2. We didn't do much movie watching - much more talking, giggling, and kissing.

Our first date was dancing at a mexican club we always frequent :-)

I'm not really sure. We never dated traditionally since he lives in Canada and I live in California. But I guess it would have to be when he took me to Drumheller to the Tyrell Museum. It was a super fun day out and the first the thing that felt like a date to me. But that was like 4 months after we met.

Our first date was at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We shut the place down then kept talking when he walked me to my car.

We went to a summer concert in a park. FH brought a cooler with a bottle of wine and cups. We ended up being the last ones in the park!

We went to get coffee before seeing a movie, we were so caught up talking we missed the movie

Our first date was something simple. We went to favorite place to eat (IHOP) & to see a movie.
