We argue this lol We selected two:

1. We first met up to "hang out" at a diner on campus where we both used our campus meal plans.

2. Our first real date to me was dinner and a movie maybe a week after.

The story continues... Our first date was at the metroparks to walk our dogs together. We had not met in person yet and I must have been nervous because I forgot the leash for my dog ( Penelope). I called my now fiance frantic and asking if we should reschedule the walk today. He said "no problem I live up the street I'll just go grab another leash". Seems small but I've never had someone go out of there way for me like that. He came back with the leash and we walked our dogs talking non stop making a legitimate connection. As you see it was dusk when the walk started and our connection wasn't based on the dusty lighting that the metroparks provided but pure intentions of getting to know one another. I didn't forget my leash the next time.😁

Our first date we went to a delicious tapas bistro and accidentally missed a comedy show we had tickets to!

We went to a restaurant called Tim's Rivershore on the Potomac in VA. It was a very memorable first date.

Our first date was at the Detroit Zoo. I was so excited because they had just opened their sloth exhibit. After not talking for a while, it was nice to do something fun and to rekindle our old feelings from four years earlier.

But we still go every year for our anniversary, and for our 3 year anniversary we couldn’t get there because he was flying in town that day, and I worked until 10pm so he ordered cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory to our apartment and had our roommate set up the apartment with flowers and the Cheesecake of course and proposed!

Went to place called Bodega and we shared a bunch of small meals, then we went down the street to a bar, had a few drinks and played pool, darts and giant jenga. Best first date I'd been on.

He took me to Panera for our first date! We went for lunch, and then went hiking after that! It was really casual, but the perfect way to get to know each other!

We've kinda had two! back in 1985 we met at a community center dance, and then we went to a local restaurant named PT. Christoff's in April 2017

We don't really know when our first date was... we have our first time hanging out alone which we count as our first date. We went bowling and he was impressed that I could keep up with him and we had a pun/joke off with each other and we just clicked. After bowling we went on this offr-oad drive and walked under the starts and it was super romantic for two people just deciding to hangout. We were inseparable after that.

Hmmm I can see how there is some confusion about your first date! It depends on how you two define first date - some people define it as the first time you two hung out and others say it's the first time you go out together and do an activity!
