So our wedding is in October and I am anxious to starting buying ‘things’! How far out did you buy your bridal party/parents gifts, your guest book, reception items (toasting flutes/cake cutting set) and all your other wedding days ‘things’? I’m not sure why I am hesitating, but something is keeping...

It's better to buy them through out the process or when you have the extra money! Other things always come up and it is nice to have the little things like bridesmaid gifts or cake toppers already bought and ready.

If you like it, you like it! Just buy! You don't want to be scrambling a month before the wedding

I also have an October wedding and I’m scared to buy things! I feel like I have to run it by everyone in my family before I make a decision on anything 🤦🏻‍♀️

The sooner you buy, the better. Takes the stress away when you complete your tasks ahead of time.

I am getting married in November and I have not bought anything yet. All I pretty much have is my dress is half paid off and started buying the center pieces.

I’m getting married October 2020 and I haven’t bought any wedding things. I just started the planning process in January.

I haven’t considered buying things from other brides. Mostly because we only need personal things like champagne flutes or a guest book. Our venue provides centerpieces and linens.

I’m definitely going to space it out! Don’t want a huge hit close to the wedding!

It’s never too early! We’re getting married in October too and I knew I wanted fall aspects incorporated. At the end of halloween I got a lot of pumpkins at hobby lobby 80% off. I also wanted to get flannels for my bridesmaids and Christmas was the perfect time!

Our wedding is also in October and I started planning last June. I went to visit my wedding venue last October to check out the weather.
I just finished my favors last weekend. You really can't plan too early. I want everything done by June

Don't do that to yourself.😩 Pick the sweetest person you know and share your ideas with her. If it's a bad idea she will tell you in a kind way and if it's a good idea she'll be super enthusiastic. It's YOUR wedding. You do you.

I have yet to buy anything but I plan to start soon Smiley smile you don't have to worry about buying too soon as long as you are sure about what you like. I would rather buy something too soon than forget it's on my list and worry last minute. Do what feels right to you! 💕
