When did you start buying 'things'?!

I started as soon as i got a list together of things I need. That way you can space things out throughout the months instead of having to make one large purchase close to the wedding

I started buying bridesmaid gifts right after we got engaged summer 2018. I got gift cards for the salon during the holiday season as there was a deal 2019, i've probably had my guest book for about a year. its nice to spread out the expenses. I got a little love sign from home goods this past fall. still haven't gotten our cake topper. but you still have some time!

We are getting married in August and we've been buying things here and there for a little while now. I'm actually going out on Saturday to pick up some more things. It's nice to spread the spending out so that a month before we aren't dropping a ton of money all at once. It kind of softens the blow.

Why do you think you're scared? Maybe you think you'll change your mind or find something better? I'm not sure why I haven't yet.

That is my plan. But I haven't actually bought anything! I don't want to rush or have to pay for expedited shipping.

That is understandable if you are DIYing. We are primarily using everything from our venue and/or the florist.

I really wanted to buy things once we put the deposit down on the venue but we couldn't decide on colors until recently. Are you still using all the things you bought or have you changed your mind on things?

A great tip regarding the receipts! We aren't DIYing anything so luckily we don't have a ton to buy.

Our venue is basically all-inclusive so we don't need to buy much except for what we want personalized or as a keepsake. Thanks!
