    Our Love Story...

Antonio and I met one day at a little side store by my house. I was recently separated and dealing with the death of my best friend. I WAS NOT interested in anybody, but for some reason he got hooked (lol) he began to come over to visit everyday, wanting to take me out. As time passed we became friends. I never thought it would go anywhere, he claims he knew from the moment he saw me. (he lied, but it sounds good)... And it honestly seem like it just happened I couldn't tell you when or how he kinda just snuck right up in my heart and that's where he has been ever since. I honestly think it is because we became friends first. He use to confide in and tell me about the things that use to bother him and his upbringing. All I can say is on July 9,2019 it will be 5 years that we have been together and 11 days as husband and wife. Was not easy.... but anything worth having is worth fighting for.

I actually knew my FH in high school. He went to the typical neighboring rival school. He went to a show with a friend of mine from his school and I remember Facebook stalking him but never actually met him. Fast forward 9 years and I found him on a dating app. I never gave anyone the time of day who didn't have a decently filled out profile and he didn't disappoint. He got my attention by mentioning his love of nerdy things and his @*$hole cat (I have one too!).

Fast forward a year and a few months and he popped the question on what had already been the best day of my life. It was our final day on our trip to Disney/Universal Studios at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter outside Borgin and Burkes! He also long-conned me into wearing a fanny pack (he did too) so he'd have somewhere to put the ring.

We're getting married next fall (2020) to make sure we have time to get everything that's important to us.

Note the fanny packsWhat's your love story? 1

We met back in 2009 back in MySpace times (the Stonehenge times) when we were 16. We added each other and started chatting from there. She lived about 60 miles away from me but would visit my city every other weekend. We decided to meet at the city Christmas parade for the first time and it felt like love at first sight. She eventually went to high school in the same city as me and from then on we stuck my each others side from college to traveling. After experiencing many exciting adventures from going to Coachella, to EDC, to Holy Ship, to Jamaica, to all the good and bad times we shared together, we finally tied the knot on May 21, 2018. We are on the move to getting married and keep these adventures going together!

David and I have been together since high school! We met when I was a sophomore and he was a freshman (we are a year apart in school but 6 days apart in age..too silly!). It was an awkward first encounter to say the least, but from there, it blossomed into a beautiful friendship. We were friends until I was a senior in high school and I finally decided to give him a chance. I know saying I fell in love with my best friend is cliché, but for us, it is so true. We both went to the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley to pursue our teaching careers. I am a special education teacher and he is currently finishing up his Music Education program and will graduate this may. In college, both of us were in Greek life. I became very close with his fraternity. In November, we went to Keystone for his fraternity’s winter formal. We were all taking pictures as a group, and while all the boys were taking pictures, David called me up to be with all of them. Instead of the photographer doing the “3, 2, 1” countdown, David did. Instead of “3, 2, 1” he said “Will you marry me?”! I was thrilled, especially to celebrate that moment with people I consider family. From that, we started looking at venues for our special day. We looked all over Colorado Springs for the perfect venue. David and I were both born in the area so it was important to us that the venue celebrated the city we loved and grew up in. We fell in love with the Pinery! It is the perfect mix of the downtown views and beautiful Pikes Peak. 6/20/2020 can’t come soon enough ❤️❤️

We met through a mutual friend in Feb 2016, at a place in Philly called "The Fire" I was 21, he just turned 23, that friend took me there for a night out and he was Dj-ing and wouldn't stop staring at me from the stage. lol The group talked aftewards and he had such a calm, sensual stare about him, his eyes were so deep. Before we left he offered me and my friend shots of liquor out of his trunk (i was so naive) We left and he yelled to me from across the street to "make sure I'm not a stranger". We started to hang out, party and get drunk together afterwards and insisted that we just wanted to be friends and we weren't looking for anything serious. the vibrational pull between us was too strong, June 2017 we somehow made it offical, despite all the back and forth arguing we did as if we were aleady a couple lol, August 2017 we moved in together and august 2018 (my birthday) we got engaged. and August 2019, we'll be married.

I decided to try using a dating app that was popular in the area. I went on a few dates but none of the guys were that great. and then i saw his picture and i thought he was adorable. we started talking and we hit it off. I went on a date with him and it started out awkward, but when i first saw him i just thought it could work. At the end of the date we really started to get along and enjoy being around each other. we went on a date every week for a month before we became an item. He had just gotten out of a relationship so we were both a little worried about how things were go, but five months later he proposed. an it has been amazing.

I had been in a very abusive mentally, emotionally, and psychologically, controlling relationship with a narcissist. I wasn't really wanting to fall in love again, i was afraid to even date thinking all men were the same. My adopted sis got a hold me on Facebook messenger saying that Kevin wanted to talk to me, i took a chance and messaged him scared to talk. He had heard about what i went through and was sorry, we started texting realizing that there was something there. He proposed Feb. 17, 2019 we were watching a movie when he had me pause the movie, he went into the kitchen, i was not sure why he went to the kitchen. He slowly came back to the bedroom carrying two wine glasses with orange juice and pineapple rum, playing our song Only God Could Stop Me Loving You By Emerson Drive, he dropped to one knee. I cried and said yes trying not to the drop the wine glass he had to catch it. We are getting married October 30, 2020 before Halloween, our venue is Lil Boom town it's a very rustic barn with a saloon, and old west feel. We are having 200 guests friends, family. Our wedding is a cowboys and angels country western with some snow camo, very pretty. I most excited about our first look , i can't wait to see his reaction as he sees me in my dress. My dress is breathtaking. We are spending two weeks in Italy we just haven't decided what part of Italy yet. What i love most about Kevin is that he supports my dreams, encourages me, is understanding, loving, caring, and helps with my nightmares because of my ex, He knows that i was damaged, scared to love, going through therapy and still loves me for me without trying to change me.
