I have a ball gown with a long train so I'm trying to decide what to do about a vail. Show me yours!

This is my dress--much different from yours as it has a sweep train and doesn't necessarily fall in the "ball gown" category, so I'm not sure if my head piece will help much. I'm wearing a cage veil with a feather/flower at the center.

I would think a traditional, long veil would look beautiful with your dress : )

That's not me in the pic, by the way-- just a pic of the dress I found online. All the dress models look stupid in my opinion; real women make the dress look better Smiley smile (not to say that models look fake.)

Dress: typical A-line with slight pick-ups.

veil: basic mantilla ordered from ebay. had my tailor add his own design to the back of it with the extra lace we ordered.

yes, that's rain on the windows. beautiful view from the balcony though.

I love your veil binx. I'm planning on wearing a cathedral lenght veil with my Possibly and A line dress or trumpet style (haven't decided yet)

Here is my dress and veil... I want to be able to wear my veil after the ceremony so I chose a shorter veil and even though I did not think I would like the double layer this one turned out to be perfect! It has scattered sequins throughout that match my dress!

Binx, I looooooooove your veil! That's kind of what I had in mind, but I think it'd be hard to match the lace from my dress because it's more of a latte colour lace.. plus FH wants the veil that goes over the face so he can do the whole "lift 'n' kiss" thing Smiley winking

Here's my dress/veil. My dress isn't as dramatic as yours though, so I don't know if I'm any help.
