I love My Little Girl. My grandpa and I are either dancing to that or In My Life by the Beatles. Nicci I love I Loved Her First it's one of my favorite country songs but I'm just afraid of it sounding like my gpa doesn't like my fh lol

My dad chose "A Song for my Daughter" by Marc Cohn.

We're doing I Loved Her First by Hearland too. I played Butterfly Kisses and that song for my mom to see which one she liked best, and I Loved Her First made her cry... easy decision!

It took me forever to pick too. I decided with Elton John “Your Song”. I really like “what a wonderful world” I will have to check out that version.

I am either doing "I loved her first" or "Cinderella". I LOVE 'Butterfly kisses', but ya know... whatever works! Haha

I should clarify... My dad and I will be dancing to a real father daughter song for about a minute and a half and then break out into the shake your groove thing dance!!! my dad can't dance so we are choreographing it for him! It will be AWESOME!!!! and after that the real party will start! great way to get people on the dance floor!

Kelsey that does sound really cool I don't think I would ever convince my dad to Dance to anything besides slow music. My mom orginally wanted I loved her First But it didn't feel right for me and my dad.

We are doing this song called "then angel in my arms" by joseph pizzuto my dad picked it out. it is very nice.

My dad and I are two peas in a pod so I picked "I'll stand by you" the Pretenders which also has alot of lines in it that my dad has said to me. I'm not to concerned that a woman sings it, for me, it's the words that count. IMO no offense to anyone that picked them, but I find the jealousy of alot of Father Daughter songs to be a bit creepy.
