What did you buy your bridesmaids?

I am buying my ladies sterling silver celtic knotwork necklaces. It is an Irish themed wedding...thought it would be cute. The necklaces are little and pretty nothing flashy. I know they will love them. I think you should get what you want to get for them... If you can afford it ...buy them the wristlets.

I am getting two flasks (my two best friends) and getting two clutches (sisters)

I bought them getting ready robes, a tote, a clutch and made them the name hangers. I'm debating taking the clutches back and just buying them their jewelry though.

I don't think those are dumb gifts at all. Wristlets are great!

I went to an outlet store. So therefore, we are talking $30 a wristlet. I dont think its insane since i only have 2 girls and budgeted $150 for their gifts. So well under budget and still an awesome gift..... RIGHT?

I got them getting ready robes at wedding prep gals and totes and a threw a few bits and pieces in the tote

I purchased a "spa day" for the two of us! 25 min massage, 25 min hot stone foot massage and 25 min facial. I also purchased the wedding jewelry and a "wrap" for her to wear with her dress!

I went nuts on my bridesmaids. I bought them tote bags with their names embroidered on them, I made bridesmaid emergency kits with tons of stuff inside. My FMIL works for a salon and is giving me hair care stuff, A insulated water cup, their wedding jewlery of course. Flip Flops for dancing that I put rhinestones on,A photo frame that will hold a picture of me and each one of them from the shower. Some of the girls got Pandora bracelets from me some who didn't like jewelry got gift cards. I have 5 bridesmaids 2 Jr bridesmaids and a flower girl. I also have been buying this stuff for over a year now so it wasn't too bad. Lots of sales!!! I think what you did was very nice

FH got his guys watches and then some got an engraved mug or money clip

I dont think its outrageous.. It all depends on how mich you budgeted for them etc. and you only have two girls so its really not a big deal! I have four girls and bought tote bags with their names on them, tees with their initials, heel protectors the grass. And their jewelery, which id love to see those coach girls faces when they saw me buy 4 stella and dot neckalces at 128 each and 4 earrings at 25 each... Oops. but hey thats what i budgeted for!

I think that sounds like a great gift. I gave my girls 31 totes with their names and full of different stuff from bath and body works lotions, gloss, gels etc to small things like tissues, gum, deodorant and just an assortment of stuff.

Can I be your bridesmaid? LOL, I think that is an awesome gift!! I am a 31 rep, so my girls are getting customer specials from the next few months and a jewelry set from Avon so they all match.

Im still in the thinking process of what Im going to get them. I got their jelwery already...Im still putting some thought into what else I will get them as great gifts. That sounds like a great gift so if thats what you choose to do, dont let anyone make you feel ashamed or bad.

Why would that be crazy??? Was she acting like you were spending too much or too little? She sounds like the most horrible salesperson ever. lol.

I probably spent between $100-$150 on each of my BMs and MOH, and H spent the same amount on each of his guys. I made little care packages for the girls, and then we shopped for each person's gift like it was their birthday. Nothing matchy-matchy. Just something nice and personal for each of them.

In other news I love the Coach outlet.

Why is that crazy? That's really nice I got Kate Spade sunglasses and bracelets for the ladies, and for myself I think total it was $750 or so, probably too much but I wanted to get something nice.

That is not crazy at all! I am budgeting about $100 per BM and just under that for the GM.. it's a great gift!

I don't know why the sales person thought that gift was crazy. I think that's super sweet.

I got my girls (2 of them): 2 sets of Swarvoski (sp?) earrings, some Bath and Body Works, bookmarks and a few other small things.

I don't think that is crazy at all. I've bought all of my ladies their jewelry (I have 6), I still have to purchase the broach for each dress, I'm paying for their make up for the day and purchasing them the hangers with their names which I know they will love. Am trying to think of something else to give them but I don't have a huge budget so my criteria is cost effective but nice. I like the idea of the tote with bath and body works stuff b/c you can always find great deals there.

I bought my bridesmaids, tumblers with their names on them, tote bags with their names on it, gold hoop earrings, gold infinity necklace, their shoes, and I'm still looking for at least one more thing...like a cosmetic bag that will match their totes.

So I have nine bridesmaids and as much as I would love to get them something that awesome its just not in our budget. I made them name hangers, wine glasses and I am going to get them some sort of jewlery.

Nope its not crazy! I am doing the same thing but getting them a personalized keychain with something engraved on it, I am also giving them a gc for general use that I am telling them isn't to be used on anything wedding related.
