Funny how things happen....Reggie and I actually meet on a night out on the town with friends.  I was with my cousin and we were having a great time on a girls night out. She asked me who was that guy that keep looking at me and did I know him. I said no and which one because its a lot of them that are looking. Lol We laughed and not as soon as I turn my back I hear a guy whisper in my ear....Ive been watching you all night! I simply smiled and said well most people do (in a good way of course) *Not to sound cocky but I have 7 brothers so Ive learned and hear all the game* We talked for just a second, exchanged numbers. I told my cousin that I would not take him seriously because I like having me time again after a bad relationship expeirence. To be honest, I gave up on relationships let alone love.  I didnt want to take my 2 children through anything like that again. We talked and talked. He was so shocked that we had more in common that anything. We both are orginally from St Louis and moved to Kansas City around the age of 8. We had several dates. I ended up introducing him to the kids and they feel in love with him! You see I watched his attuitude towards children, I always said if, and that was a big if, I ever dated again....they must do right by my kids. My kids are good kids so I knew anyone that came in their life would be more than blessed. Things eneded up taking off more than I expected myself. Needless to say that we eneded up moving to STL togetther. (our roots) Within the course of 4 years. Things have been a wonderful life expeiernce. Its not always roses or perfect but its just right for me. There were times where I thought, man is this ment to be but you learn there are so many ups and downs to life and relationships you ask God to reveal and Im so glad that I waited on the Lord. It feels so good to be in love and to have someone love you just for you as a companion and most importantly deals with your past look foward to your future. I feel so blessed to have someone here on earth love me and the kids so much. I thank God that we are equally yolked and he is a man of God, and knows his faith.  God has truly blessed us!  We cant wait to spend the rest of our lives together as husband and wife!
