What are you doing/ did you do the night before your wedding?

Mrs. Kline (Sass), on November 23, 2010 at 9:59 PM Posted in Planning 0 35

I am just trying to get some ideas. Not really a bachelorette party since anything will involve my minor cousins and my aunts probably. I still want to do SOMETHING. I am thinking Dave & Busters is that cheesy? What are some other ideas?

Well, we have the rehearsal dinner and my mom wanted to hang out in the hotel with me the night before. I think you should probably rest up!

The rehersal dinner is friday night because the venue is rented Saturday night. I probably won't stay out too late but I want to do something since I am leaving right after the wedding and it will be the last time I get to see them for at least 6 months.

Well, we had one of our bachelorette parties at Dave & Buster's, so I'm not going to knock that idea. However, when we did the night before the wedding was to order in a bunch of pizzas, hang out with all our guests, then go off to our own room to sleep with the two of us and two dogs in one double bed. ;-)

Hmmm ... I'm thinking I'm going to go get manis/pedis/massages the morning before, have a nice luncheon for my bridesmaids and fg, then we will go back to the suite I'm staying in for Thurs and Fri night and get ready for the rehearsal and then we'll have the rehearsal and I think we're going to do something simple like pizza for the rehearsal dinner (though I'd prefer somewhere nicer, but it's not what I want it's what my FH wants and his mom) and then we'll hit the hotel bar for a few drinks, go back to the suite and watch some movies, talk and then hopefully I'll get to sleep by 1am since we'll all have to be up by 8am for breakfast/hair and make up etc ...

We had a party at my parents' house. Very informal. Just ordered a bunch of pizzas. It was a blast! Half the wedding was there and from out of town! Of course my wedding was small, about 55 people total, so half that at least were at the party. And we did a bbq the day after the wedding at the nice beach house vacation rental that DH's family was staying in.

Sleepover with my MOH! I've known her since we were 8 so we were just talking about old time and the stupid things we use to do. Also, I dug up old pictures and we laughed and laughed!

Meh, I am working until about five-ish (unless my boss flips and tells me to go and prepare for the big day, but I plan on working). Then getting all dressed up for rehearsal and chapel decorating at 7:00. Then rehearsal dinner afterwards...it might last a couple of hours. Then hotel? I think I might stay in the hotel that will hold the reception, because I know that I will want to make sure everything gets set up smoothly. I might have the hair/make-up peeps come there or the chapel.

We had a rehearsal dinner, went home afterwards and worked some more on the favors, got about 4 hours of sleep and then woke up early the next morning and worked some more on the favors.

Well we are doing the rehearsal and having dinner and a decorating party afterwards so the reception hall and church will be finished. Thursday night, the night before the rehearsal me and my FS are going to our respective families to spend our last few nights single with our parents, we are also going to have our 'first date' again. Hes going to pick me up at my mothers and take me to Longhorns..hopefully we won't get pulled over again like we did on our first date! Lol!

I didn't read any of the other posts but we had our rehearsal dinner. Then DS and I went out with his brother and sil and my friends from college (about 30 of us) and went to a local bar and just hung out and socialized and relaxed. Only one moron got drunk (one of my bm's no less..she def got the mom treatment from me at midnight) but the rest of us just unwinded before the big day. Then DS spent the night in the guys' room and I spent the night with a majority of my girls.

Rehearsal dinner. went back to the hotel, met up with DH friends who flew in from Chicago for some drinks. some of his family was there also. then we went to our room, yes our room (there was no place for either one of us to stay with another person). we ended up having our HM suite for 2 nights, was pretty sweet!!
