Jessica

     Nick and Jessie both attended and graduated high school without the pleasure of ever meeting one another, but then after two years at college in Chicago, and a move back to Missouri to be closer to family Jessie would meet Nick through mutual friends. On February 27 of 2009 Nick, holding a pink gerber daisy, picked Jessie up for their first date, they went to Longhorns for dinner and were both so nervous that they didn't even talk to each other. Later that night, finding themselves down at the Missouri River access under the Jefferson City bridge Nick kissed Jessie for the first time, and certainly not the last! In fact later that night, over by ABB, on the dirt roads, they were pulled over for stopping and kissing in the middle of nowhere! . One month later Nick told her he loved her.      The couple continued to date for the rest of the year, and enjoyed spending time together outdoors fishing and hiking, although Jessie enjoyed it more when they were shopping, and seeing girly movies. With the end of summer the two both went back to school as full time college students and being just as much in love as they were when the summer began.      On Valentines day of 2010 Nick and Jessie decided to go for a drive, and where would they end up but under the bridge once again. Jessie, looking off to the west watching the river as it flowed strongly against the wind, turned to tell Nick that she loved him and found him on his knee. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a ring and asked Jessie once and for all if she would marry him and be the love of his life.
