Wearing a ring 24/7?

Yes you should wear it 24/7!!! I had a great grandmother who told me that if you can not wash, cook, clean and do you household chores in the ring without it tearing or changing colors, you don't need it on!!! WEAR YOUR RING DARLING! IT'S OFFENSIVE TO THE GROOM TO BE

I do the same thing when I get home. There's absolutely nothing wrong with trying to keep your ring safe from damage while at home doing everyday chores.

So I wear mine all the time because if I don’t I forget to put it back on!! I take it off when I do dishes, put on lotion and take a shower other than that it lives on my hand 🤷🏻‍♀️

I only take it off when I do dishes. Sometimes I forget to put it back on after and forget to wear it the next day. To me it’s not a big deal.

I take mine off for bed, other than that i always wear it, even washing dishes

I rarely take mine off, but certainly agree when doing heavy or dirty work with your hands why risk something so precious. We treat the things we love with respect.

I don’t wear it when just hanging around the house or cleaning house. I don’t want it to get lost in the laundry basket or anything lol. I don’t usually wear it when running quick errands. I wear it like my other jewelry to work and if I go somewhere. I also take it off to wash my hands. I feel bad sometimes for not wearing it but I’m scared to death that it’s going to get scratched or dirty!

I wear my ring all the time! Except the shower! But once I’m out of the shower that baby goes right back on! 😍

I did say I wear mine all the time but in the shower! However I am a jewelry consultant and we see rings that women wear 24/7 looking awful, even thought I wear mine almost if not all the time, you do NOT have to wear it all the time, in all actuality we are not supposed to wear them doing any type of cleaning around the house, and even the dishes, the harsh chemicals in our house hold cleaners can eat away that nice clean and polish, and if you go swimming the chemicals in the pool will turn it black, shower is a must to take off even though your ring might be snug that water can easily make it slide off, and sleeping you should take it off, (you’d be surprised by the stories we get about what happens to the rings in there sleep) so short answer is no you shouldn’t wear it 24/7. But nothing is wrong if you do. 😁😁😁

I take mine off whenever am cleaning, cooking or showering. I try my best not to take it off too often CSU’s si tend to loose things easily

I wear my ring unless I'm cooking, showering, cleaning. I take it off sometimes when I work out but not all of the time. For the most part though, I wear it. I'm sorry that you were made to feel that way. I don't think that it's required to wear it 24/7.

I wear mine all the time! The only time I take it off is when I'm taking a shower or going to bed. Sometimes I'll keep it off if I'm staying home all day or just not in the mood to wear any jewelry at all. But a majority of the time, I'll wear it. I know it costs a whole lot of money, might as well use it for its intended purpose!

Hey !!! I usually wear my ring the majority of the time. But I take it off when I shower and when I go to sleep. Granted I’ve only been engaged for almost 2 months. I think I would not wear it if I was doing some type of activity that it might get really dirty or might get damage. That’s just me though.

I wear mine pretty much 24/7. I take it off to shower, when ever I'm dealing with some kind of meat, and then at work during certain procedures (I work with animals). Otherwise it pretty much stays on all the time and I occasionally clean it with special jewelry cleaner.

I take mine off as soon as I get home from work, including all other jewelry I'm wearing. Don't wear it at home. I do wear it when I am out. I don't want to lose it.

I hardly ever take mine off! Sometimes I do play with it in my hands because I'm a fidgeter (I know, risky) and I set it on the bathroom counter if I'm putting on lotion, but otherwise it stays on through everything including dishes, swimming, cleaning, cooking, showering, and sleeping. However I do wear gloves when I'm cleaning, especially at work (a vet clinic). I asked my parents all of the same questions when I first got engaged and if I should take it off for certain things and after saying no a bunch of times my dad finally said "Are you still engaged? Then keep it on." Obviously a matter of opinion and do whatever is most comfortable for you, but mine has practically become a part of my hand with its own indentation and tan-line

As a nurse I don't wear my ring to work or if I'm doing anything that is strenuous with my hands (cleaning, working with harsh chemicals, yard work, playing with dogs) I usually only wear it to go out. otherwise I swear a tungsten ring that I bought in between since its less cumbersome and if it gets damaged or lost then it's cheap to replace.

You can definitely take it off for me I have to for work so I have a choice wear a silicone ring but most of the time I forget to put the silicone ring on since I take off my ring then forget to put on that one or vice versa where I can’t remember to put my ring back on my finger. It’s not the end of the world of you don't wear the ring all the time, if you think about it guys don’t wear a ring only ladies do so why do we always have to be wearing them?

I keep mine on all the time.

I actually wear my wedding set 90% of the time. I take them off for bed, shower, and cleaning with chemicals. If you're anything like me you would lose the wedding band within a day if not wearing it.
