Red shoes with my dress? Bad Idea?

FABULOUS idea (depending on the dress of course). I also wanted to wear red shoes but it wouldn't go well with my color choices so I'm trying to find a fun shoe that still goes with my colors. If you need more inspiration to "do it" check out this bride (and consider red lipstick!):

I love the idea. I was doing red heels before I gave up finding the perfect shade and just bought black converse knee highs instead. As long as you like the shoes who cares.

@Lovely Depepnding on the length of the dress they will show espcially while you are sitting down at dinner or doing the garter removal.

LOL I don't understand it much either, that's why I figured it wouldn't bother anyone if I did it, but everyone thinks that I'll regret it. The only time someone will be seeing my shoes is during the garter removal. Which my garter is red, I thought it would be cute. But I mean really my dress is floor length.

It's cute and fun! Do it! and you can always bring a backup pair of shoes for both comfort and in case you change your mind that day.

I cant think of any reason youd regret it... its an adorable idea! i say go for it. red is such a sexy color anyway. i bet your fh will enjoy seeing a little flash of red when hes doing the garter removal lol

I wore ivory shoes for the wedding in Vegas and for our reception in New York i am wearing my gown again with orange shoes.

I think red shoes with your dresss would look hot, I have actually thought about this myself but then I kind of want to wear blue (for the something borrowed, something blue thing).

Yesss!!! I love colored shoes...it will be great for photos and a nice little surprise of color when the groom goes to pull your garter off!

It's popular now. Colorful shoes make for great photos like this. They also make it so even the ugliest feet on the planet will look cool under your wedding dress.
