Keep or Cancel: Sleeping apart the night before the wedding?

Keep. We already live together, but I wanted to make that first time we see each other all the more special from not seeing each other that morning. We’ll be doing a first look and that’ll be when we see each other for the first time!

Totally keeping to me, this is a true tradition especially for couples that live together.

Im actually keeping this one the girls an i will stay at my house for the night and FH and they guys will be at a hotel since the hotel is closer to the venue

Keep. Sleeping apart builds anticipation for the next day it's like Christmas eve. Its wonderful to wake up Christmas morning

Keep! I'm excited for the last night with my family and bridesmaids. Keeping the first look all put together on the big day.

My opinion is kinda a personal preference. My fiancé and I are really loving and always try to fall asleep and keep away any bad dreams and the night before such a big event can stir any type of nervous dreams.

We decided to sleep apart for the wedding. When creating the hotel block, we requested an extra room when booking. He will sleep there the night before then let our one friend use it for the night of. Worked out nicely and creates a little anticipation for our wedding night. It doesn't hurt that I get to have the big nice suite the whole time 😉

Keeping this traditions, FH has to sleep at FMIL's house because his best man(best friend) and brother live in the city where he grew up at, most of his side of the family will leave from FMIL's house. I will make sure he has everything few days before our big day!
