Is the cost of a bridal bouquet really this much?!

My florist provided me with a breakdown of the cost of all the flowers/arrangements I'm ordering. My bouquet came out to $185.00... which unbelievably is the highest priced item on the list. Is this right? The bouquet consists of ivory colored roses, and a touch of blue delphinium & blue limonium....

Is this right? The bouquet consists of ivory colored roses, and a touch of blue delphinium & blue limonium. My bridesmaids have the same, just not as full of a bouquet as mine will be and theirs will be orange roses - the price is only $37.50!

Can someone please give me an idea of what your bridal bouquets are costing you and if you think this price is reflective of what I ordered?

Tricia I sent you an email. I'm also getting married in Fort Myers, and I love my florist.

Mine is $25 and I'm getting it from the groccery store florist. It's going to be beautiful orange and pink roses.

OMG, I haven't tried to get any quote yet but geez with prices like that I might just carry my bible down the aisle, I don't care that much for flowers so spending a lot of money on it is gonna be really hard

Mine was going to be 2 dozen white roses for $125.00 until I came across Afloral.com. The reviews were OUTSTANDING. The same bouquet is like $15.00 on their site and I am going to order from there. Seems like such a scam, but review after review says they are stunning and look very real.

Mine was 250 for white roses and stephanotis with pearls and white stock for filler... I went to another shop and it was 110. My BM's are 50 each, sunflowers, some purple flower and fillers. I am making my toss bouquet out of fake flowers because the florist wanted to charge me 40 for it

One florist quoted mine at being "at least" 200. Another florist quoted the same bouquet style at 120. Because of that, I'd say shop around. Smiley smile

Tricia, I am in Naples and I can recommend a few florists if you would like. But I think your quote is a decent one for this area. I strongly suggest you call Grace Lakes Florist in Naples and ask for Amanda. She can help you.

I think it depends on where you live, I am in NYC and mine is $200. I am having all white peonies, freesias and hyacinths. In total we are spending 5k on flowers which is a lot but our wedding theme is spring so this is one area I went nuts.

Well it depends on where you live and the flowers that you choose. Both of your accent flowers are out of season, and I'm sure the ivory roses are more expensive than the orange ones. My bouquet is 110.00 for pink hydrangeas, roses, amaryllis, and lisianthus. My bridesmaids bouquets are 65.00. They have the same flowers except they have orchids instead of hydrangeas.

Geeze that crazy!!! That's why I'm going to make my own bouquets. The prices are just ridiculous!!! I'm sorry, they quoted you so high. Maybe shop around and see if you have any wholesalers in your area, try to DIY. It's really not that hard and there are plenty of DIY websites that can help you with it.

My bouquet will be 180 but I am paying a lot to get Stephanotis in it which is a very expensive flower. Without the stephanotis I could drop it to around 120

I ordered 8 large long stem white calla lilies which cost $150.00. My florest said that if the flowers are out of season or are considered tropical (such as Calla's or orchids), then the price increases.
