Is the cost of a bridal bouquet really this much?!

My florist provided me with a breakdown of the cost of all the flowers/arrangements I'm ordering. My bouquet came out to $185.00... which unbelievably is the highest priced item on the list. Is this right? The bouquet consists of ivory colored roses, and a touch of blue delphinium & blue limonium. My bridesmaids have the same, just not as full of a bouquet as mine will be and theirs will be orange roses - the price is only $37.50!

Can someone please give me an idea of what your bridal bouquets are costing you and if you think this price is reflective of what I ordered?

The price of a bouquet depends on the type of flowers, the amount of flowers, and the season & location. some flowers only grow during certain seasons in certain locations; so the florist might have to get it shipped in from a different state or over seas. i would get a couple of quotes somewhere else in the area and compare....hope i helped!

You guys did not get ripped off at all. You would not even believe what goes into your flowers and designing and how much and why a flower costs what it does.
Not to mention how the florist babies those flowers along for 3-4 days besides designing them. trust a florist, they are some of the most honest, best people out there and If you paid alot, you got alot.

I was quoted $60 for my bouquet. And she said the only reason it was so much was because it has out of season flowers in it.

I did mine and five bridesmaids, and it came to $134. But that's only because I used fake flowers and made them myself. We're being very thrifty with our wedding.

I am a vendor....totally depends on the kind as well as how many flowers or size of bouquets. We offer fresh and faux flowers designed to look fresh.
