How much time are you taking off work?

I have a generous PTO grant so I will be taking 3 days off before the wedding, the week after the wedding for the honeymoon and two days off after that to recouperate. 2 weeks total.

FH is hopefully getting to work a half day the day before and then will have the week of the honeymoon off. I kind of feel bad because we get back late on Sunday night and he has to go to work Monday morning.

I am working Mon, Tues, and a half day on Wed. for a Sat wedding. FH is doing the same.

I've been saving my PTO all year in preparation for the wedding. I'll be taking a full 2 weeks off. Week of and week after.

I am working up to Wednesday and our wedding is Friday! I am going back to work Monday but taking off four days a week after the wedding.

I am taking off the whole week before the wedding. I know I will be freaking out and worrying about details so I really wouldn't be a great employee anyway.

I'm taking the Thursday and Friday off before. I'll go back to work on Monday, but will leave on Thursday for our one week honeymoon.

I'm working until 4 on Wednesday, taking Thursday and Friday off. FH is working almost the whole day Friday. We'll go back to work Monday, then two weeks later, honeymoon!

I had a full month off before the wedding and a full month after......then again, I'm a teacher who chose to get married during the summer. ;-) My hubby on the other hand was able to get two full weeks off. He had the two days off prior to the wedding and had a day to recover after the honeymoon before having to go back to work.

I took off the Thursday and Friday before my wedding. Then I took off a week for the Honeymoon and then the Monday and Tuesday after the honeymoon. It was back to work that Wednesday! I figured if I took any more time off I wouldnt want to come back to work. It was hard enough coming back.

It will depend greatly on where I am working at that time. If I return to Head Start as an aide, I will have the Friday before off (I don't work Fridays anyway) and the following week off (unpaid). However, the center I work at has gone down to half-day due to funding, so they aren't sure they need me. If I go back to work there as a TA (which I applied for), I will have the Friday before and probably the week after (as I will have the same boss, but not sure whether it would be paid or unpaid). If I get an elementary teaching job, I will probably only have the Friday before. If I end up subbing, definitely the Friday before, and maybe the week following for our honeymoon depending on how well we are doing financially with me subbing.

I have a Saturday wedding. I will work till 3pm the Wednesday before, and I will go back three Mondays later So I will have a total of 19 days off.

FH is self-employed, so he will have the exact same time off as I do.

Since I'm having a Friday wedding, I'm taking Wed & Thurs off and the entire week after for honeymoon. We are scheduled to come back from honeymoon that Friday, so I will have the wknd to recover and then back to work on Oct 3rd . There is a lot going on at work around my wedding, so I'm afraid of taking any additional time off. It's going to be crazy busy when I get back.

15 days off total/11 days off of work between the wedding and honeymoon. I think I only have to work 7 days in December....awesome!

I am taking wed-fri before off, the week after and either another week or 1/2 week I have 136 hours of PTO I can use plus 2 float days. Ill probably take off 2 1/2 weeks since I never take a vacation.

I work weekends, 3 12 hour shifts, so I am taking off that weekend, so I will be off monday through the next saturday, or 11 days, only having to use 4 PTO days.

I will be taking the Friday off before my wedding and heading back to work on monday.FH is taking off Thurs, Fri, and Mon. Then I will be taking off two weeks following Thanksgiving for our honeymoon.

I'm taking off the thursday (6 oct) before the wedding on saturday. (8 oct) (already off that friday) then we leave for our honeymoon on monday (10 oct) and get back the next monday (17 oct) so i'll probably take of the day after we get back and go back to work on wednesday (12 oct) so i'll be off 13 days!!

FH will be off the friday (7 oct) before the wedding then he won't go back to work till tuesday (18 oct) then he's off again that wed and thurs. (he's got a weird schedule, every 2 weeks his off days change - sucks!!!)

I haven't decided yet, but our wedding is a Sunday so most likely I will work up until Friday, but if I feel like I have a lot to do maybe I'll take the day off.
