How much did your wedding dress cost?

I have been having doubts about the dress I already bought. The friend who was with me kinda pressured me into getting it. I'm gonna sell it and buy a new one. I have fallen in LOVE with a dress, but it is $7,000. ...just curious to see what you ladies paid. Here's the dress! (Isn't she lovely!!!) ...

300 but haven't had any alterations got it a little too small & have lost 20lbs so I think it will need to be taken in and want a bustle so more than likely that will be another $200

Mine was $3300. I'm from Canada and I bought it in New York at Kleinfeld's. So I had to pay $500 to have it shipped here. So in all, it's been quite expensive. I've yet to try it on since it's arrived, believe it or not. I'm kind of in a state of shock that I've spent that much on my dress so I'm scared to try it on and have to spend even more on alterations! Ekk. But I still think it was worth every penny! Smiley smile

    P.s, FutureMrsOhler - I adore your dress!

Mine was $1150 with alterations. It was a Maggie Sottero. In my mind it was expensive, even though I know a lot of people pay more. Smiley laugh

I paid $99 for mine and it will be just a little over $300 total after alterations Smiley winking

I got it on sale at DB online.. so glad I snatched it! It's discontinued now.. when I tried it on in the store, the sales ladies were in love with it and asking "did you get that here?? I have never seen that one before!" and when I told them how much I paid, I felt even better about the shock on their faces Smiley winking

That's was a good gown. Finding the perfect dress is a huge ordeal with regards to all occasions, but it is even more of an ordeal when you are preparing for a wedding. Couples want to make certain everything is perfect for their wedding day, and it takes a lot of trips to several bridal shops before a bride will find her perfect dress. You can use a pay day loan to put money down on the dress and make sure you do not lose it.

I fell in love with my Kenneth Pool - Serafina. I spent $5400 after a 20% discount. I wouldn't have been able to purchase it otherwise. Buy what you can afford.

Jen P... That's MY DRESS!!! lol I love it to pieces. I didn't pay for it though my parents paid for the dress, both veils, the flower I'm adding to it instead of the sash. All of that came to a little over over 2K. They will also pay for alterations and I'm trying to talk them into refunding my money for my shoes!!! lol My daddy can't resist me pouting so it's all working in my favor these days!!!

My favourite dress was a Lazaro at $4600 before taxes and alterations (and it would have needed alterations)... I couldn't justify spending that much on a dress I'd wear once! I'm making mine and the materials will cost about $600- plus dozens of hours of work, of course. (I'm a dress designer so it's not an insane idea for me to make it, haha!)

My dress was around $6000. Although I do have to say it didn't cost that much compared to other dresses I was looking at.
