How much did your wedding dress cost?

I have been having doubts about the dress I already bought. The friend who was with me kinda pressured me into getting it. I'm gonna sell it and buy a new one. I have fallen in LOVE with a dress, but it is $7,000. ...just curious to see what you ladies paid. Here's the dress! (Isn't she lovely!!!) ...

My first dress was 299 i wasnt happy with it at all and only got it because everyone said i looked good in it and i think part of that was how good of a deal i was for that price.

my dress that i have now and absolutely love, wasnt even on my radar when i first tried dresses on because my budget was really low and at the time i first went shopping it was $799!!

i just recently took my 1st dress back when i found out my dress ( db wg 3007) was on sale for $349 and discontinued , so i got the last one in the store because it was like in pristine condition, for only $50 extra. Best decision i've ever made to go alone and do this. #1 everyone will be surprised when they see it ( only my mom, his mom, and my maid of honor know what the dress looks like ) and i even got the veil to match ..

budget wise though, it is up to you. if the dress is the most important thing to you then you should spend whatever you want on the dress, or whatever you can. have to make yourself happy Smiley smile

Mine was just under 1100. I haven't gotten it altered yet. I wanted to stay as close to 1000 as I could. I absolutely love my dress!

Mine was $800 including veil, tiara, bra, and slip. Everything was on sale. The only thing I need altered are the straps. Somehow I got a dress with straps when I love strapless. But I love it very very much :]

Mine cost me 1,300 for just the dress and I am not sure if I love it. If i could I would sell it and get one that I loved for 1,600 which is only 600 over my budget of 1000. I don't know what I was thinking. My dress should be in this week so I hopefully I like it, if not I don't know what I am going to do

My dress cost me about $1,500, without alterations. I bought it back in November and it still has about a month and 1/2 before it comes in, so I assume that once i get measured for alterations probably about $1,600-1,800 when all is said and done.

Mine cost $1250. Don't know how much the alterations will be.

In my area, somewhere between $**** is quite common, so I landed right in the middle.

My dress was $400. With alteration and the extra crinoline (Sp?) that I want its going to be about $700. I planned on spending about $1000 just on the dress alone but this was a sample dress that I loved more then the other dresses so I couldn't pass it up! but if you love the dress go for it!

$380! I put a spending cap of $900 for my dress and felt like I had hit the jackpot with mine! I wanted a halter dress and as I'm sure many of you ladies know, there are not NEARLY as many options for wedding dresses with halters as I would've hoped for. And the only alterations needed are to bring the dress up 2 inches! Other than that, it fits like a glove and I love it!

My dress was $1600, veil $145, alterations $60. This is the most expensive clothing purchase I have ever made, but the cost doesn't bother me. This is the most important gown of my life, so I made sure that I got something I loved within my means.

When my family and bff's found out how much I spent they were sticker shocked.

Just under $800. Found the dress I loved in store and then bought it on bestbridalprices.com for like $300 cheaper. Not sure what alterations are going to cost yet.
