How many hours is your reception?

Yeah it's a little long. Usually 4-5 hours I think is normal. But if your having a cocktail hour it is normal.

Ours will be short, just 3 hours total. Since we have such a small guest list, a party atmosphere is unlikely, so we're doing a lunchtime reception with a big meal and some good music, alcohol, and just enjoying time seeing and talking to everyone.

Ours was simply a cocktail hour, but we aren't the norm.

Wedding is same site as reception. wedding is at 2 (will be short ceremony) wedding will end at either 7 or 8

Ours is only three hours, it's from 7-10. The sales woman said people are only allowed to stay until 10 and we're having a sunset beach wedding so it doesn't work out well. It's all good though I guess we'll just have an after party

Our ceremony and reception are at the same site. Originally scheduled 5-10, but when I looked at their break down of timing, it just seemed so rushed so we added an extra hour.

That's long. Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception is 5-11.

My cocktail hour started at 5:30 and then reception ended at 11. I would have loved to have another hour! It went by way too fast!

Ours if 530-12. We have a cocktail hour.

We had to start at 530 because the other wedding at the reception hall is starting at 6. We were going to end at 11:30 but our coordinator decided to throw in a extra 30 minutes for us so we're ending at 12.
