How many hours is your reception?

4 hours

Ceremony 6-6:30

Cocktails 6:30-7:30

Reception 7:30-11:30

We ending up extending to 12:30 because dinner was a little late and people were still having fun.

My reception is 6 hours- 1 hour cocktail hour and 5 reception

Ceremony starts at 530, reception is from 6 to midnight. We have set aside 2 hours for the buffet dinner for around 180 people and then 4 hours for the dance. Our timing is very common around here.

Cocktail hour is around 5 and we have all vendors and the venue till 3am (kinda hoping it won't last that long as it'll be a crazy long day!)

Mine was 1 hour cocktail hour and 3 hour reception. I really wished I could have extended it to 4 hours for the reception, but it just wasn't in our budget. Does your 4-10pm time include the cocktail hour? If not, yes that's a really long time, and I don't imagine guests will stay the whole 6 hours.

My venue rental is for 3 days. Im decorating friday and having the rehearsal and dinner then friday. Wedding later in the afternoon saturday with no end time. Our dj has to stop playing at 11pm but we can put music on and party if we so wish. I dont foresee this happening. Then sunday is brunch for parents, siblings and grandparents

Ours is 7 pm to 1 am including cocktail hour and viennese hour so 6 hours

Ours is from 6 to 9. I always get burnt out when people have forever long receptions.
