How did you meet your fiancé(e)?

We met right before high school! He saw me across the football field the spring before our freshman year and admired me from afar until the following January lol

We met at work. I had just started there, and there was a bad snow storm that shut down the airport (where we worked). I was stranded, and my trainer wasn’t able to make it into work the next day. I asked to start early (my shift wasn’t until 2 pm and it was 8 am) and the supervisors agreed. My FH was a Coach, and his trainee was down testing so one of the supervisors (his friend) pulled the whole “haaaaaaaave you met Shawn?” Card, and put me with him for the day and we just talked a lot and got to know each other. We didn’t start dating for a few more months though xD and the first date was the result of a bet the same friend made with him.

We actually met at a wedding! I was working and he was a guest. He said that that morning he was actually considering not going but figured...what could it hurt? After the wedding, when everyone was talking about going to the after party, he speaks up and says "I'll go if you go." So I decided to go and we didn't talk to anyone but each other for about 4 hours. We really hit it off and he told me at the end of the night that he wanted to take me on a "proper" date. We've been together ever since.

My FH and I met online. We talked for over a month, then he made the trip up to see me. After that we were long distance for about 5 months then we took a chance and moved in together. He transferred up by me for work.

We met on Tinder lol. We work at the same company, though, so I could look him up to know he was legit beforehand.

We met at work. We were both in relationships when I started working there but there was always something kind of magnetic about him, I always enjoyed work more when he was there. After both our relationships ended I was too scared to make a move. One day he made a bet that I hadn't completed my work and I swore I had... long story short he was right and I owed him a drink which turned into a movie date and the rest is history.

We went to high school together. Started dating Sophomore year, graduated and thankfully wanted to go to the same college, dated all four years and graduated, and got engaged a few weeks later!

FH and I met randomly one night in Walmart (of all places) 🤣


He was wearing a baseball hat that I commented on and we ended up having a full conversation. We knew some of the same people because we‘re each involved in organizations that overlap. So we stood chatting and laughing like we’d known each other for years. That led to a true friendship for 2 years before anything intimate.
Shortly after our funny encounter in Walmart, we affectionately gave each other fun nicknames. So, I call him “Wally” and he calls me “Marty” (get it??? 😂). We actually use those names on a regular basis. Also, we met on February 7, 2013. So instead of celebrating Valentine’s Day, we celebrate “Wally & Marty Day” every February 7th. It’s pretty much our “anniversary” because we don’t know when we officially began dating.

We met at a country dancing bar. I was out celebrating my first new car purchase with my roommate. My roomie and I were coming off the dance floor back to our seats on the rail. I had left my clutch on the rail while we were dancing and my now-fiance was standing next to it. I walked up to him and said, "Are you trying to steal my purse?" to which he responded, "No, but I'm trying to steal a dance." Slick. We danced and spent the rest of the evening together, talking and dancing. The next day, we went out on our first official date and then proceeded to see each other every single day for the next 2 weeks. It was a whirlwind, that's for sure!

Kris and I met on Facebook by accident. I had just gotten a facebook account and was looking for people I knew from school. When I saw his FB Profile picture his face was completely covered by a ball cap and we had a mutual friend. We bounded over a love of movies and family and have been together for 7 years. Kris asked me on our first date on my birthday to see the Hotel Transylvania movie.

In College! In the lunch line to be exact. He asked me about a book I was holding (a required reading for one of the classes) and it turned out that we had this class together!

We actually met at our first job at 16.

I met my wonderful fiance through a mutual friend. Our friend gave him my number and he left an awkward voicemail on my home answering machine (so my whole family heard the message). I called him back. In a few years we started dating and after 7 years of dating he popped the question on my birthday. And we are planning a gorgeous Spring wedding for year 2022!
