How did you choose your date?

We picked a month that worked best for us in terms of planning and our vision and went by what Saturdays the venue we liked best had available. Your date will become significant because it’s the date you get married.

We chose our dating anniversary! We both knew we wanted an Autumn wedding, and an easy date to remember – and our dating anniversary checked both boxes.

We picked about a six-week range that worked for us and then checked what dates were available. Multiple were, so we picked one that was a nice number.

Hi this is a great question! We are actually still working on setting our official date, here are a few (mainly weird) things we are taking into consideration


-location/weather, ideally we’d prefer warmer weather to support guest walking from a hotel, outside pictures, etc -spreading out from other celebrations; we are trying to avoid other holidays taking away from our anniversaries-this is a weird one but baby planning, we’d like to be married for a year before trying for children but are very eager to start a family, I would prefer beginning to try earlier in the year. -I’m weird and am not an odd number kind of gal😂

We wanted a date sometime when the weather was nice and that didn't clash with harvesting or planting times (a lot of FH's family and friends are farmers) so we just picked a random date, first in June and then ended up pushing it back to September

We picked our anniversary date (July 26th). It's on a Friday this year so it works perfectly for us

We went with the first availability of our preferred venue that wasn’t a holiday weekend.

September 5, 2024! We went with a Thursday since all of our guests have to travel and most are making a week long vacation out of it. We figured if we do a Thursday wedding, we can do a Friday brunch as a send-off and then our guests have the weekend to travel back and get settled before going back to work Monday

Essentially came down to cost factor- knew I wanted a spring/summer wedding. Was booking out far enough to have a variety of options.. we took the last Friday in our venue’s “off season” before price increases.

October 19, 2024 is our date. I have always felt at home in October, just everything feels perfect. The weather, the vibes, the atmosphere, just everything. So I knew I want to get married in October. As for the 19th, I was 19 when I met my fiance and it’s the one Saturday in 2024 that I liked the number😅 so it worked out perfectly 🥰

We knew we wanted sometime in September because that's one of the best times for nice weather in Santorini, Greece. And the date we picked because thats the day we bought our house.

My future hubby has a strict schedule and they sign up for their vacation for the next year in September and it goes by seniority. The last month left by the time it got to him was August and November. We went with November because he could take his full 4 week vacation. Then we just picked a date that wasn’t too close to Thanksgiving and gave us enough time after for the honeymoon. November 17th 🙌🏾💕

We decided to do November 2nd because the weather is warm but not cold, the leaves are beautiful, Hello perfect backdrop!!, it’s over all perfect.

We knew we didn’t want to pick a month our children, parents and our birthday was in. It didn’t matter the season. We are big on birthdays so we wanted to make sure we are available to celebrate with our love ones and June was the month for us.

My fiancé picked the date, nothing special about the date and picked the venue.

Our date is our Anniversary from the day he asked me to be his Girlfriend!
