That sounds good! Have you decided on a honeymoon destination (or at least narrowed it down)?

We're getting legally married on our 20th anniversary this March, but we're doing the wedding on February 8th, 2025, in honor of my grandmother who passed away on that date when I was almost 13 years old.

We picked the winter solstice because it is the darkest night of the year when you welcome in the light and that is what we brought into each others lives, light in the darkness 💗

Hello Everyone & congratulations on your engagements. We decided October 2024. Our wedding doesn’t have any sentimental significance. It was driven by providing enough time for our out of town guests to save & plan, good weather (it won’t be too hot in or too cold). Also, to provide us enough time to properly plan & not feel rushed as well as not to have a long extended engagement.

We live in New England and there is nothing like Fall here! Its freakin GORGEOUS and my favorite season. We picked our date based on that. We got peak foliage in an outdoor garden venue. We did have to go with the Friday instead of Saturday but that's not a big deal.

I'm weird and love even numbers. We picked a date on a month, day and year that was even. We are getting married on 8/24/2024. We though the day was fun as well!

We picked the month, June, because I’m a teacher & would be off by then, then waited to see what the availability was once we found a venue! Landed on 6/29/24 💜

I'm a practicing witch so I wanted the autumn equinox for new beginnings and the new year. It was on a weekday so I settled for a day before instead of the actual date.

We did not have a date of significance to us so we chose 4/6/24 because 4x6=24. Smiley smile

We picked September 21st for the Earth, Wind, and Fire Song September 😂. We love music and wanted special song to commemorate our day. That will be the song playing when the bridal party walks into the reception!

I wanted spring so I knew it had to be either April or may. I also wanted affordable. And something that the venue had. Sunday was the most affordable day besides the weekday so we went with that date. I would say depends on what’s important to you.

We picked 2 weekends, one that had my fiancés favorite football team playing a game he didn’t care about and one that had them not playing at all 🤣 then I reached out to the venues I was interested in with the two dates and picked the venue I liked best with availability for one of the dates

Ours is significant! My fiancé’s birthday is September 30. His mom passed away on the 28th, so he stopped celebrating his birthday for years ever since. So I asked him would he mind doing it on the Saturday, the 28th, and he said he’ll live to get married around his birthday so he’ll be happy about something instead of feeling sad and down. So that’s how we got our date. I told him his mom will be proud that he’s living life and not dwelling.😊

We wanted a fall wedding but I didn't want anything close to Halloween and my Fiance didn't want September. We settled on what date flowed and sounded nice lol 10/04/2024
