HELP! Sew in cups OR a push up bra for the small ones! LOL

Martina, on April 17, 2012 at 11:25 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11

Hey Ladies, I hope all is well. I am happy to say I have picked up my dress and am completely in love with it. My dress is pictured below. Needless to say I have some time before i have to go for alterations (August), however I have started buying my accessories that I need ( i.e ungarments, veil). The one thing the seamstress at DB told me was to make sure I bring my undergarments. They did say I could do sew in cups or get a bra. So I'm a little stuck because unfortunately I am not well endowed. Lol. I am a 32 A on a good day and thats using my wonderful bra from VS lol. So I am not sure what I should do because I def want to show some cleavage with the dress, not too much but enough not to look like a little girl lol. So I am stuck, this is extremely important to me so I was just curious if anyone shares my pain. Lol. By the way my dress will be changed to be strapless, not sure if that matters. I appreciate the feedback!

Sew in push up pads! That way you don't have to deal with a strapless bra all day.

I went with a great strapless bra and some chicken cutlets! lol Otherwise my dress wouldve looked odd.

I say if you can get fitted for a great bra and add some cutlets, go for it!

I dont personally like the cups sewn in because they dont have the Ummph needed to help my already small "girls" get to where I need them. lol

I'm using a push-up long-line bra. I agree with Andrea in that I didn't think the sewn-in cups would give enough push-up power for the little ladies. Smiley smile

I had sew-in push-up pads in my dress AND wore a push-up sticky bra (my dress was backless). Talk about major boobage, it was awesome Smiley smile I had boobs!! And they didn't look super fake (at least to me)

I did sewn-in ... it was a bit sad when the seamstress had to root around for the 'biggest ones she could find' hahahahaha - but yes go sewn in. SO comfortable.

I would sew in pads and do a bra with chicken cutlets(silcone inserts). They sell them at DB.

    Hi girls,

I had a similar problem, I'm a 34B/C depends which bra! I wanted to wear a bra to give me a bit of a lift and shape. I read this really great article which really helped me, so i hope it helps you too! Smiley smile

Taylor K. thank you ! I am having push up cups sewn in but Im worried it may not be all that I want/need, I may order one of those! (I ordered a great bra from Fredericks that goes every which way imaginable and cutlets but Im not sure thats going to be "it") thanks again!

Hey All thanks the input truly helps seeinb everyone's different experience and opinions. . Im still not fully sure what to do but seeing that my dress is pretty fitted im leaning with doing the sew in cups and if needed buy my own for them to sew in that will give me extra boobage. Lol. I like the idea of the sew in cups with the chicken cutlets. I may definitely look into that. Thanks everyone this helps alot because i was really stuck.

Ok so.. Lovers has sillicone bras.. and they're only about $20, but they work great! They clip in the center to pull your ladies together and they stick to you so it's strapless. I plan on getting them.. Smiley smile

@Carole, might check those out when I go to DB next week.. I didn't realize they had them, I wonder if they are the same thing I'm talking about ^^
