Hi Jacquie! Key Largo is so beautiful, that'll be an awesome spot for a wedding! Have you booked your venue yet? I would take a look around our Vendors tab and search for vendors in the Key Largo area! Each vendor has reviews from users that can help narrow down your choices!

Hard to recommend with not knowing your budget, but def look at floridakeysweddings.com (or something similar).

I think that Keys Audio and rentals is your best bet for any “furniture” type items (if your venue doesn’t already have). They have BEAUTIFUL custom crafted farm tables, and their website does not list all of the things they have so def go visit or ask for more options.

Caribbean Catering was very helpful and Debbie knows everyone in the biz down there. Although I did not end up using them for catering I would highly recommend them as they are so helpful, professional and knowledgeable.

Yes we have a location for ceremony and reception but that's as far as we have gotten with planning. We are thinking about going with a pig roast for food but haven't booked anything yet and haven't looked into music or rentals of linens or decorations... Still really early for some of that.

Florida keys- Key Largo underwater ceremony and beach reception. That's as far as we have planned we have Amy slate resort providing our officiant and the boat to get to our ceremony location. We are staying at a beach house and having the reception there not all the guest are staying at the house as it has only 2 bedrooms. So we are planning to book a hotel block for the guests for our destination wedding. I have my dress but my fiancee hasn't looked for what she will be wearing as far as I know anyways... I also have my shoes

Ceremony and Reception: Mission San Luis in Tallahassee.
Our wedding colors: malibu blue (turquoise) and black.
    Caterer: Klassic Katering
Flowers I'm having silk flowers by Jean from etsy
    Photographer: Vizuliz
    DJ: Amplify Entertainment
    Cake and dessert table: Publix
Guest count is a little hard. We are inviting about 120 people but I'd say 99% of our guest list is from out of state. My FH and I are originally from New Jersey.

Like others here, we're having a St. Augustine Wedding on 3/28/2020. (Having lived in North Florida for 12 years, I can say it's the most beautiful weather, with minimal humidity - important for curly haired people like me!)

    Vibe: "Vintage Florida"
Colors: still finalizing, but leaning towards a refined tropical palette with accents of coral or possibly a smokey teal.
Ceremony location: The Lightner Museum Courtyard (outdoor)
    Reception location: The Floridian (indoor/restaurant)
    Guests: 30
Catering and Cake: provided by The Floridian
Flowers: DIY...using tropical greenery sourced from my yard
    Photographer: Merry Day Weddings
No DJ or Band: we're creating our own playlists
Printed Materials: DIY...I'm a graphic designer, so I'll be doing these myself.
Budget, not including rings or honeymoon: $5-7k

    Ooo How fun!!! Smiley smile

Where are you getting married? What kind of venue is it? Hard Rock Hotel! As you can imagine, fun and funky venue. Very much music based, but we will be getting married outside on the Woodstock Lawn. It has a "California Hotel" vibe as I keep putting it. One way that you look is all lush greenery with one ornately detailed wall - and the other way it is facing the resort which is stunning.

Are you doing an outdoor or indoor wedding ceremony & reception? We are doing an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. I like a little mix of both, but it's Florida and even in the Spring, it can be unpredictable so I didn't want to take my chances with everything being outdoors.

Are you using any fun local touches? Well the theme parks are the touch! If people are interested in that sort of thing, which it seems like 50/50. But if the guests choose to go to the theme parks they have certain benefits like "fast passes" and early access which is nice Smiley smile But if they don't want to do that, no biggie. I plan on maybe following up with a nice brunch the next morning onsite at the resorts.
