Did you pick your ring or were you completely surprised?

My fiancé and I debated about this for awhile but the more we talked about it, we thought it’d be best if I picked it out because the last thing you want is to not like the one thing that’s going to be on your finger for the rest of your life.

I showed him choices we I liked and he picked one pretty close to what I like

I gave him a few ideas on what I liked and he took my son who was 3 1/2 at the time gave him 3 rings to choose from and my son picked out my ring...morganite in rose gold

Your ring is so pretty! My FH actually gave me a promise ring so when he proposed and told me the story of how he chose my ring, he told me he wanted to upgrade my promise ring. My engagement ring of course was with real diamonds and alot more detailed.

He surprised me! I had no idea 💙
He said that while picking it out, he remembered how I like both silver and gold jewelry and once he saw this one he said “yes, perfect”. 😭💙 the fact he chose it just for me made it even more special and meaningful for me. But, we are choosing our wedding bands together!

I'm very simple when it comes to jewelry and prefer rings that are not too bulky or flashy so I told my FH that I wanted a solitaire ring with a simple band, sent him a few pics from my Pinterest page for inspiration and he picked it out on his own and I love it!!

We went shopping together for the perfect diamond and the engagement ring. He ordered it and i had no clue when it was coming in and he surprised me by the ocean at my favorite spot!

My dad gave my fiancee my great-great grandmother's ring to give to me.

Your ring is beautiful. The only thing I gave my fiancé was the shape of the diamond. I didn’t want a typical princess cut or circle shaped. I left the rest of the design to him and I am in love with my ring.

My fiancé and I went ring shopping! I found the ring of my dreams, and he came back another day to buy it and surprised me with the proposal!

I was completely surprised. I had no idea what he had planned.
