Did you pick your ring or were you completely surprised?

So my first ring (I know, I know but read on) my mom helped my fiancé pick out. Totally unique, I still love it . Then when my mom passed away, my dad gifted my fiancé two small diamonds and his mom gifted him with her original diamond ring that was a family diamond. So for Christmas he took me to the jewelry store to design a three stone ring. It was the perfect surprise!!

We picked out a couple rings together, but i didn’t know which one he was gonna pick. He picked my favorite one! 😍

We went ring shopping so I could design my own. He wanted to make sure I would love whatever I “was going to wear the rest of my life” so I went and was able to design everything which was super special since I got to change anything I wanted about the ring including shape, size of center stone, etc

Complete surprised he always said he didn’t believe in marriage then BOOM was stuttering and everything during the proposal it was so cute!

That ring is gorgeous! I sent my partner some options but hinted at which one was my favorite. Lucky for me, he caught the hint!

My original ring looked exactly like yours! My fiancé picked it out because I was dropping hints on which style I liked. The style was great and A for effort on that but I’m allergic to nickel. When I got it resized, I started breaking out. We tried to fix it by going back to the shop where he got it but they didn’t offer the rhodium coating - it was like a mom and pop shop. We then took it to a professional jeweler who wouldn’t touch it because it was too frail. We tried everything but were unsuccessful so I was forced to get a replacement and I tried my best to match the style. I’m so happy with it and get lots of compliments! Best of all, no break outs!

I picked it out and showed it to my FH. In the end I love it and he's also super grateful because he said he'd have no idea which to get me and I made things easy for him. No fuss, no muss. We tell people he picked it out to make him look better and that doesn't bother me.

We found a temporary one. He wants to get me one, but he has to save up. So we just have one for now.
