My FH was unsure of what to purchase, wanted to make sure it was something I wanted to wear for the rest of my life, so we looked at some online together. I knew I didn't want him to spend a fortune on a piece of jewelry, so I'm glad we shopped together because he was thinking I of spending way more. I'm sorry, I just can't see myself wearing something that costs that much, I'd rather you make a payment on my car than put that on my finger. Anyway, I was just going to give him a small selection, say something like this or this would work, but he wanted me to pick the exact one. He even told me when he ordered it, but the way he proposed was my surprise.

Never knew what I wanted but somehow he got exactly what I wanted, if that makes any sense. He knows me so well! To this day everyone always tells me my ring is so original looking suits me so well. I sometimes feel everyone loves this ring more than I do because of how many compliments I get!

Mine was a surprise and wasn’t at all what I would have picked out for myself. He spent 3 hours at the store looking at so many different options. He wanted it to be simple and reflective of him and our relationship.
And I got it after we did a 3 mile hike up a mountain in the fall. It really was perfect.

I was surprised

He took me into the store to just “look” and I found this one ring I fell in love with. After sometime went by he told me the ring I liked was no longer made. Which he was right...he just left out the part that he got that last one!! It’s everything I ever wanted and more

I chose my ring online. I was torn between this aquamarine one and a morganite one. This one dropped in price and I knew this THE ONE! My fiance ordered it but the proposal was a surprise.

He surprised me with my ring!

I sent my fh a long facebook message detailing everything...it had in it the ring i loved, my ring size and what he should or shouldnt look for to keep the $$ as low as possible lol.


Ive heard too many women say they never wear their engagement ring anymore cause they dont like it that much (too gaudy, not their style etc) - thats a lot of money a guy has to spend on that for it to just sit in a box - i want to wear mine every day. In my opinion, there should atleast be one conversation on what you do like or what you seriously don't like or if you want it to be a surprise/who to go to who knows what u want.
Fh actually took the design and had it custom made so there are some nice touches on it that are unique to what he wanted to add to it

My husband picked mine out on his own. The only thing I told him was style and that I cannot wear gold. It had to be either sterling silver or stainless steel. I also told him that I didn't want anything HUGE. Our first date: 1/21/2017. Our yes date: 12/14/2019. Our I do date: 6/27/2020.

My boo surprise me I never seen it coming he gave me my Christmas gifts and then around 930pm iam talking to a few of my friends that was over the house and he gave out of now where and ask

Technically, his dad picked it out since its the same ring he proposed to his mother with but I love it. Its simple and quite frankly, my style.
