Did you pick your ring or were you completely surprised?

I was completely surprised - I did have a pinterest board and saved the styles I loved and he went off to the jeweler and he just knew that the one he got me was 'me'!

Your ring is beautiful. My fiance surprised me and we never talked about rings. I feel like a horrible person because I'm not in love with the ring. What would you guys do if you were in my situation?

I didn't pick out a ring and neither did he. My mother gave him the ring that my father used to propose to my mother. Once we were engaged I got my grandmothers engagement ring.

We shopped together but he told me to make the final decision because “I was the one who has to look at it for the rest of my life” lol (we’re both very sarcastic lol)

I picked mine!

I told him the diamond specs I wanted and showed him settings I liked. He took it from there and surprised me with the finished product. I wish I was wearing my ring right now so I could post a picture but you can’t wear rings in the OR 😢

We went together and I picked 4 or 5 that I liked and he went back a few weeks later and picked the one I have

I let him pick my ring but I gave him guidelines.

I didnt want

-solitaire

-clear stone

Everything else was up to him.

He went with a rose gold, halo, alexandrite

My fiancée picked mine out for me. I only asked for a specific stone for the main one. He did great to but I got to pick my wedding band out instead.

I was completely surprised. My fiance proposed with his great grandmother's ring. I absolutely love it

I gave mine multiple options a year before the engagement, so that I wouldn’t know when it was happening and which exact ring he would pick. But he picked a great one and was surprised but very happy with it.

I definitely gave my fiancé some ideas. I told him I wanted something very simple.
Apparently when he went ring shopping he took my sister, both for our shared ring size and for moral support 😂
But ultimately, he was the one to choose the ring and he did a great job!(The picture doesn’t do it justice, but I just love my little ring so much 💍❤️It’s exactly what I wanted!)

I picked out the setting and my fiancé picked out the diamond
