Brides with strapless gowns... how are you wearing your hair???

Mariel , on May 7, 2011 at 7:53 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 34

I wanted a style that Eva L. wore but some people suggested wearing it down since its strapless and im a little busty ( my dress keeps everything safe and secure.... also its not cleavagey).... so what is everyone else doing?

I am wearing my hair down... not by suggestions, but the simple fact that updos for me are EXTREMELY uncomfortable (with the pins in the hair and all). I rather have something more comfortable. I like curls so I am just doing curls in my hair.

Depending on how long my hair grows between now and next year I might wear it up but if I get extenstentions half up half down.

My FH wants me to wear my hair down. But I may do the half up and half down.

I'm wearing it all up. My hair is so fine and thin that it wouldn't look nice enough to wear down for a wedding. Plus, I'm getting married at high noon on a hot summer day so anything that's going to help keep me cool while I'm wearing a big dress is for me!

Originally I was going to do up- actually the same Eva do I'm sure you have too. but I had a hair trial - my hairstylist suggest I wear a tube top to get the same effect.. I've decided to wear it down, I wear my hair up often and I have spent months growing it out I feel like it would be a shame to put it up..

Half up, half down. My hair down makes my face look slimmer but FH wants it up, so I am compromising!

I had short(ish) hair, so it was down in curls.

All up for the wedding and all down for the reception. My stylist is one of my BFFs and will be there.

I'm wearing mine half up half down, and I'm a C, possible even a D lol. I gotta go on another bra shopping trip to see if a D fits better lol.

I was going to do half-up/half-down but the weather didn't cooperate and I did a low side bun. You can look at my pics Smiley smile It helped too because even tho it was cold and raining outside, the boat was hot... kept my hair from sticking to my seaty back LOL

I'm doing a side ponytail that has soft curls in it with a hair comb. Like this but without the veil!

Down but pulled to the side with a flower in my hair, on the opposite side of the rosette on the hip of my dress.

I'm thinking of going half up, half down with soft curls. I made these on Style Me Pretty:

http://smp.gd/b/w1z - I like the way her hair is pulled back, but I would have it down instead of all up.

    or

    http://smp.gd/b/kq3 - But less messy.

Will wear it like this for the ceremony and like Chelsea R for the reception. FH wants it down, I want it up so this is the compromise. My MatronOH is a hair stylist so a quick change will be no problem. Oh! And will have hair extensions to make it longer and fuller.
