My fiance (Wes) and I were introduced by a mutual friend.  She introduced me as his 'next ex-girlfriend'.  Here we are almost 7 years later with two beautiful children and engaged.  We've had our ups and down, but always pulled through.  Our biggest obsticle was our daughter being born in June 12 weeks early.  She was in Children's Hospital for 9 weeks after birth, and we were both extremely scared for her.  She has pulled through amazingly! For the proposal, he asked my father for permission back in October.  Both of our parents are divorced and remarried so he had to tell everyone (except my mom).  She can't keep anything a secret.  The night of the proposal, took all of our parents out for dinner.  It was beautiful and a lot of fun getting everyone together.  After dinner, the waitress brought out a heart shaped cake with strawberries on the side.  The ring was on the strawberries.  Of course, my mom had to take a picture of it and that's where my profile photo came from.
